    I bought this brand new at a Best Buy store. After a couple trys I was able to connect it to my wifi. Then I got a message saying the Roku needed to be updated. I could not get it to update. I think Roku stopped updating this product. I took it back to the store. I decided to try an Amazon Fire Stick and was going to purchase it at the Best Buy store but Best Buy would not Price Match the price I found on Amazon. So I bought it from Amazon. ONE STAR goes to both Roku and Best Buy.

    Roku is the way to go on my LG tv's. Their browser leaves a lot to be desired.

    I purchased this Roku at a discounted price. The device is good however, it can be better. This Roku does not have a power button. I prefer previous versions.

    Average at best found out it's not the best one Roku has made should have bought the 4k one for ten dollars more

    junk if u ask me. i set it up and worked fine, but as soon as the tv got turned off and turn back on for later use the audio didn't work properly. had the rest every device every time. I returned it thinking i got a bad device and the 2nd did the same. i turned it back in for the 4k model worked perfect ever since.

    I bought two to trade out a few cable boxes and they worked fine for almost 2 weeks and then all of a sudden they stopped connecting to the internet. I was on the phone with my internet provider for a day and a half and there was no problem on their end, as the Rokus were the only devices not connecting. Tablets computers, smart TV's and another streaming stick (3-year-old Amazon Firestick) were still able to connect to the internet. When I tried to return it, I had barely missed the 15 days return policy, which means I'm stuck with 2 Rokus that do not work. I tried the troubleshoot recommendations but they did not have any resolve and the help center is closed for COVID.

    I didn't like it at all. It's pretty easy to set up, but the interface is just deplorable (It's not user-friendly at all.). I like the set up on Apple TV way better (I know it's way more expensive though.).

    ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY. AFTER ONE WEEK THE REMOTE STOPPED WORKING AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO FACTORY RESET NO MATTER HOW MUCH I TRIED

    No on/off button. No volume control. Useless to watch tv without standard features. Had to use 2 remotes.

    Not Roku, just upset about 15 day return policy at Best Buy. I was inside 30 days… but would not take… look at your receipt closely. I will remember that when buying the next time.

    I bought this Roku for a family member in another country, and I was told the Roku was a disappointment. The device didn’t have much, and many of the channels required extra charge. I personably, haven’t used this in the US. I had to return it.

    Roku express only USB and HDMI connectors

    It did NOT come with power plug luckily I had a newer tv with a USB port. The other 2 I bought 5 months ago did!! I only recommend if you have a newer tv with HDMI and USB. I also have another tv with the red, yellow, white (AV) ports... which can't use this product I have another analog with digital converter antenna for free local channels that you do not get with Roku channels unless you pay to stream them

    Was disappointed with product. Easy to install and use, but was very limited to what I was able to watch since Spectrum and roku are at odds. Returned in two days

    I have several Roku devices...mostly Premier and Premier +. Bought this one for a 1080p tv in the garage. The Roku Express constantly buffered. I hooked up one of my Roku Premier boxes in it's place...it worked perfectly. Returned the Roku Express to Best Buy and bought a Roku Premier to replace it permanently. I actually got the Premier cheaper than the price I paid for the Express since it was on sale that day. Even if you only need 1080p output...recommend you still by one capable of 4k.

    Terrible product. Worked fine for a few months and now randomly disconnects from the Internet. Others are having the same problem. All my tablets, laptops, and smart TVs have no issues. Avoid Roku. Don't waste your money!
