    We were really disappointed with this Roku. Setting it up was more complicated then it should have been, once setup Disney+ would buffer so much it was difficult to watch anything. We’d have to login to our Hulu account every time we’d want to watch it. There also isn’t a way to just power off the roku, the only way is to set a timer and the least amount of time is 30 min. After a few days we returned it and bought an Apple TV. The Best Buy employee told us this particular model gets returned a lot.

    Previous I contacted with the Spectrum, I tried to connect this but it is not working in my TV.

    I guess it worked? I was disappointed that Roku wanted a CC to work. I have internet/services. I was trying to "Bluetooth" an older TV to my network. I learned this was not the technology I wanted. It is in the landfill now.......

    I bought this brand new at a Best Buy store. After a couple trys I was able to connect it to my wifi. Then I got a message saying the Roku needed to be updated. I could not get it to update. I think Roku stopped updating this product. I took it back to the store. I decided to try an Amazon Fire Stick and was going to purchase it at the Best Buy store but Best Buy would not Price Match the price I found on Amazon. So I bought it from Amazon. ONE STAR goes to both Roku and Best Buy.

    junk if u ask me. i set it up and worked fine, but as soon as the tv got turned off and turn back on for later use the audio didn't work properly. had the rest every device every time. I returned it thinking i got a bad device and the 2nd did the same. i turned it back in for the 4k model worked perfect ever since.

    I purchased this Roku at a discounted price. The device is good however, it can be better. This Roku does not have a power button. I prefer previous versions.

    I bought two to trade out a few cable boxes and they worked fine for almost 2 weeks and then all of a sudden they stopped connecting to the internet. I was on the phone with my internet provider for a day and a half and there was no problem on their end, as the Rokus were the only devices not connecting. Tablets computers, smart TV's and another streaming stick (3-year-old Amazon Firestick) were still able to connect to the internet. When I tried to return it, I had barely missed the 15 days return policy, which means I'm stuck with 2 Rokus that do not work. I tried the troubleshoot recommendations but they did not have any resolve and the help center is closed for COVID.

    I didn't like it at all. It's pretty easy to set up, but the interface is just deplorable (It's not user-friendly at all.). I like the set up on Apple TV way better (I know it's way more expensive though.).

    No on/off button. No volume control. Useless to watch tv without standard features. Had to use 2 remotes.

    I bought this Roku for a family member in another country, and I was told the Roku was a disappointment. The device didn’t have much, and many of the channels required extra charge. I personably, haven’t used this in the US. I had to return it.

    I have several Roku devices...mostly Premier and Premier +. Bought this one for a 1080p tv in the garage. The Roku Express constantly buffered. I hooked up one of my Roku Premier boxes in it's place...it worked perfectly. Returned the Roku Express to Best Buy and bought a Roku Premier to replace it permanently. I actually got the Premier cheaper than the price I paid for the Express since it was on sale that day. Even if you only need 1080p output...recommend you still by one capable of 4k.
