||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Two years ago, I became a cord cutter after AT&T wanted $140 + taxes and fees to watch BBC America and 4 ESPN channels (and they took my NFL channel away). I bought $10.00 HD antenna and got 92 different HD channels for free in my area. I streamed from my computer and phone until my son gave me a Roku for Xmas. It was easy to set up and and had all the presets for the apps I stream. This year, I returned the favor. Due to the lockdown, everyone was at home at the same time. my son was working constantly on his computer so I purchased a Roku for the TV he uses. He loves it.

Simple to use

I now have 4 Roku units on various TVs in my house and am happy with how they work. The only problem is that microwaving disrupts the signal and sends it into buffering mode.

Roku Express HD Streaming Media Device

However, after going through the setup procedure on both I decided to return the Roku. I think it would probably be fine for just about anyone to use so I think it just boils down to personal preference.

I did have a password malfunction in the beginning my password for my WiFi starts with an upper case letter and Roku accepted only the lower case? Amazing amount of channels and movies to choose from. Caution it’s addictive because you can choose from categories you enjoy !
