Somehow we let cable companies make us so angry that we were willing to give up the very basic conveniences of cable for this clunkier version of TV. Does it work? Absolutely. Do I love it? Yeah. Kind of. Is it as easy to use as the old school cable lineup? No. Are there a billion things to watch on it? Yes. Are a ton of them free? Yes. If I had this or cable TV for the same price, what would I pick? Cable. This is cute in the way that your first smart phone was cute.

Make sure to have good line of sight for receiver to where you will be using remote.

Awesome for streaming and casting from phone

My smart tv is too out dated to access some of the newer streaming sites such as Disney Plus or Peacock so I got this Roku. It works great, very easy to use, simple UI menus, and an easy to use and small remote. One of my favorite features is I can cast my phone to it. I can now watch YouTube, or videos online from my phone up on the a TV.
