I have a smart tv, so this wasn’t necessary, but my tv is very slow. With the Roku, it speeds up my tv experience without having to wait for my streaming channels to load. There are many streaming channels to choose from and doesn’t take too much time to set up. I highly recommend this product.

I was told about Roku when I went to the internet provider I use to get a small converter box that would show HD rather than SD TV since I had just replaced an older TV. They said I would get all the standard TV channels and I could get other channels either for free or for a subscription. I plugged it in without hooking it to the cable outlet and set it up to connect to my wireless network and now I have all my TV channels plus some other channels on this TV. This particular model has to be mounted so the remote can see it was the only downside but that wasn’t a real big deal. I liked it so much I went and bought another one except what they call the Roku Stick which doesn’t have to have line of sight to the remote and I use it on our main TV in the living room. I love this thing, It’s great

I bought the Roku system for my wife's birthday. She loves the free movies and TV shows and I love to watch the music videos on YouTube. It was so easy to setup and the remote control was easier to use than I thought. The pictures are in 1080 format and uses WiFi to obtain the signal. Easy to operate.

Love Roku and how easy they make the streaming process. I have this model on two other TV's in my house, bought 2 of these for mother to transfer her from DirecTV pricing to YouTube TV. Ultra is far superior and faster if you have a 4k tv, but this is perfect for all others in your house.

Got this to be able to replicate laptop screens to an office television. Setup was a breeze. Had this doing what I needed it to in a matter of minutes, and the laptop connects to the wireless display pretty quickly, with only a couple of clicks. Got in on sale, so it was a really good value, too.

Does what I bought it to do. Steams video content from multiple providers, including Netflix, Cable provider streaming services, Amazon Prime, etc. Only thing that would make it better would be to include the premium remote that comes with the ultra.

This is a great little device to make your older TV with an HDMI connection smart. Super easy to install and setup with many popular apps preinstalled. Added to an older Sony TV and the picture quality is 1080i with no glitches. As long as you have good wifi, you should be good.

We bought the Roku because my kids have been begging for tv in their room, but I didn't want to get a cable box in there. This does everything we need. They can watch TV and movies....all uninterrupted by commercials. There are tons of apps. It is a great deal for the price. I most definitely recommend.

I have an older flat screen hooked up to a Bluray player and it no longer supported Hulu. I was also getting kicked off the internet. Once we got the Roku Streaming hooked up (super easy) I haven't had an issue yet and have the ability to watch so much more. I absolutely love it!

We love our Roku. It has been a wonderful choice after cutting the cable cord. Several options to stream and it also has its own Roku channel with free shows and free movies. One time cost for the unit and no monthly fees for the Roku. I also have access to ABC shows with in a week delay.

The Roku is easy to setup and easy to use. Highly recommend this device for normal use such as a child's bedroom.

Works well easy to set up. Does take a little time. It must do a software update and restart. Then you have to get your channels set up like Netflix,prime, Syfy etc. Compared to my old Roku I think the picture is clearer and much faster response times. This can also be moved from TV to TV easily.

If your TV isn’t smart or have one that doesn’t have HULU (like Phillips TVs) you need this. Stream Netflix, HULU, Disney +, Tubi TV, etc with ease while being easy on the wallet. There is no voice control on the remote, but that isn’t a deal breaker. Great product!

It's really a great alternative to cable and satellite, decided to cut the cord and not looking back. Only thing that bothers me is it boots me back to the home screen and I have to go back to the channel I was watching. Don't know if its Roku or Hulu...other than that, it's a great way to save money.

I've got a Roku stick for one TV, a Roku 3 for another TV and a Roku 4 for the 4k TV. This Roku is my favorite. It is small and comes with double sided tape so you can attach it really easily to the side of the TV. It is perfect for TVs that are wall mounted and don't need 4k.

Roku is a great alternative to having a large box from Spectrum and also paying monthly for TV's I rarely use

I don't have any thing bad to say about this device. Set-up is easy and super fast, you can download hundreds of different apps, ranging from music to video to games. The only thing I personally wish was easier was inputting your account information for your subscriptions.

Very easy to use even for the technologically challenged. We have 3 Roku Expresses in the house. No issues.
