For $29 this Roku model offers the same capability as the $39 fire stick and $100 Apple TV, making your “dumb” tv into a fully functional smart tv. In addition to the great price, the Roku offers the Spectrum TV app that allows your to view the full range of your Spectrum channels without a digital cable box. Spectrum doesn’t offer this app for the Firestick. The only negative is that it requires a sensor (provided) in direct line of sight to the remote. You can stick this on top of the tv, which doesn’t bother me at all. Overall, a great product. Now every tv in my house is a smart tv that in addition to allow streaming of Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc., allows me to get all my Spectrum channels on every tv. If it weren’t for this capability I would have dumped Spectrum long ago.

I am very glad to now have My third Roku streamer, I Bought my first about 2years ago loved it soo much I bought a second, I loved the music features, you tubes, Spotify Pandora and many others, My Wife and Son are very big movie fans ,They love Netflix and hulu, One of these Days would love to get a Roku large screen T V

I purchased this model (3900) for the bedroom TV alongside an Ultra (4660) that was purchased for my living room. Both have worked flawlessly and set was complete within a couple minutes. I've always liked Roku and these new models are no different.

I am very happy with my purchase. It was easy to install and has a quality picture and a number of apps that can be downloaded to watch whatever you would like - tv shows and movies. I just transitioned from cable and I am quite happy so far.

I bought this for my parents, who were looking to get into the world of video streaming for the first time. They have told me they love it! This basic version of the Roku was perfect for them, who didn't need a lot of extra features.

My wife and I had gone out of town for a getaway. We often like to hole up in a hotel and binge some television or movies we've fallen behind on and usually use any of our phone, computers, or tablets to do so. Well on this trip I forgot to bring nay adapters or cables to do so, so we headed to the local Best Buy to pick up an HDMI, which couldn't be had for less than $25. On our way out of the store we stumble on this handy little device and being a fan of streaming devices, at $30, I decided we'd give it a try. It now has a permanent home in my technology bag when I travel (which it quite a bit). The setup and use each day in hotels is relatively painless, even with login screens and terms of service pages. I've yet to experience any hardware issues out of the device. Once, the subtitles somehow found themselves an entire scene ahead of the movie, but a quick back out of the show and jump back in set everything right. The remote isn't quite as intuitive as I'd like and sometimes the 'up' button doesn't register as well as the others, but overall I've been very pleased with this streaming stick and have recommended it to several people.

Currently an owner of 4+ Rokus ranging from this entry level to the Roku 3. This one currently runs as smooth as the other ones. The direct point remote sometimes conflicts with a Roku close by, but using the app takes care of this problem.

I bought this so that my granddaughter could stream Netflix etc. It is a really nice little device for streaming. It is very easy to install and initiate, it took less than 10 minutes. Streams great, no issues at all.

I never know the difference between all the different Roku devices,but this one was the least expensive and proved to be the best value. Hooks up quickly. Easy set up with Roku. Has all of the channels I need.

I purchased 6 of these, and they all work great. I have less interuptions with these than I do with the Direct TV. Many apps/channels to choose from. Now I just need to decide which streaming service to use.

Our previous older Rocky Express had died so we got this new one. The price is affordable and this size is really what the average person needs. It is perfect for a 720p HD TV. Setup is easy and it picks up the channel apps from my other Roku. Just make sure it is set near a cool area of your tv or else it may overheat. Bonus: It came with a 30 day free trial of Sling!

Great little device, easy to setup and use, awesome product to have. You can even adhere underneath the tv bezel and it blends in, highly recommended!!!

Bought this Roku to replace old Roku 2. Very sleek, small and powerful. I have more space around my tv.

My primary tv isn’t a smart tv and I had purchased an expensive Sony blu ray a couple years ago to stream in that room. I’ve had problems with Netflix for sometime and now the player stopped streaming Hulu so i purchased this Roku device as a solution. It works great! It’s so much faster than streaming through the blu ray and works exactly the same as my Roku TVs EXCEPT I can’t fully control the tv with the remote. If I want to switch to cable, I have to change the input with the tv remote and I need the cable remote to adjust volume. If I was to purchase again, I’d spend more money and get something that has a remote that controls all the devices so I don’t have to use three different remotes. But otherwise, it works great.

This is an excellent streamer for first-timers or someone who might not be tech-savvy but it’s also just a very good device in general. I have an Apple TV as well but I have this in a guest room and though it’s not as snappy or fluid as the Apple it’s still fast enough and simple and just a fraction of the price. It’s an excellent value.

This device is awesome! Easy to maneuver and be able to access! The functionality is perfect for older people...(like myself)

Roku is an excellent streaming device. Easy to use. Quick simply setup. Easy navigation. Compact design. I really like the fact you can attach the device to the television set with the included two sided adhesive stip. it makes it very discreet. Very inexpensive for all that it does. I’m very pleased with this purchase.
