Great Purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went in to Best Buy 30 minutes before the Super Bowl start time hoping to find a cheap way to watch the game on my older tv. In and out of the store in 10 minutes thanks to the great staff at The Encinitas Best Buy, got home and set the Roku up in time for the kick off. Awesome.

My only complaint is that over the years there has been no overhaul to the interface. I have a Roku unit from 5+ years ago and everything is the exact same except for the fact that there are more apps that work on this model. There is no Ethernet port on this one either so you have to have a decent WiFi network to get good video quality.

First time Roku user
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the basic model Roku as I could replace the Comcast cable box ( No more monthly equipment rental cost) on a spare TV I have. Easy set up. Changing Comcast channels ( Channel surfing) is very slow as remote has no numeric pad to directly enter the channels. Roku player would be less than adequate if this on your most frequently used TV.

Great entry streaming stick

I bought this along side a smart tv. Since I’ve found the menu in most smart TVs to be bad, I tried this. It’s great! The whole interface is clean and simple. The buttons on the remote a big enough unlike the tv remote in which I ended up pressing multiple buttons at once. You can’t go wrong with this.

Great basic streaming device at a great price

The TV has a USB port so I had some choices. It was simple to set up and it gave me more free product to stream. I am very satisfied with my choice.

Roku Express Rocks

Downloaded cable app. and receive all my normal tv stations. Within a couple of months will recoup the cost of units by what the monthly rental is on cable boxes.
