Voice control available with phone app

And now I have voice command for my Roku with a cell phone app. I haven't had any problems with the Roku but I'm taking the Fire TV item back. It's given me problems with buffering and cutting out.

Roku + sling will answer your problems if you're cutting the cord and you don't want to go over your budget while you can still watch your favorite show and sports.

Good to dump the cable box.

What I don`t like is the remote. You can`t just punch in what channel you want. You have to go to the channel list on the left and scroll up or down through all the channels. But it saves me 8 bucks from having a cable box.

She loves it and states that she can watch everything she loves on it. She got rid of her cable and is watching tv on it using the sling app. Works great.

Easy set-up for first time streamers

Hook-up and set-up takes about 10-15 minutes. We have 5 of these on TV's throughout the house and they connect easily to our wi-fi system with very few buffering issues. All kinds of stuff to watch!

Great way to get rid of cable

Works ok as long as you have a good internet speed, mine buffers sometimes. I need to upgrade to the higher internet speed with the cable company.

Gets the job done

My only complaint is that all of the reviews I read said this was the model to purchase if I wanted to hook up to an older tv set. It is not. I guess I should take one reviewers advice and just purchase a new one. Disposing of the older tv that works is such a pain I was hoping to salvage it a little while longer.
