Decent device while it lasts

So, I bought this introductory model, and unlike previous Roku's that last a long time, this one quit after 6 months. On the plus side, it did work well while it was functioning though.

I switched from Spectrum Cable to Roku Streaming

Picture reception on Spectron is not clear throughout the house because need Roku with 5G recognition in order to see my 5G router. This not clear to the novice. Basically out of date since 5G and smart TV

I found it confusing and not only that, but I had to sign up for emails in order to get the process started. It was to much of a hassle so I returned it. Now I’m stuck still receiving their emails.

Easy setup and easy navigation. A great fit for people that aren’t too tech savvy.

It’s “okay”

Anything worth watching is an additional charge. If you’re an 80s and 90s movie buff go for it. I haven’t really found much of anything to watch. The good news is it wasn’t very expensive.

Sound out of sync after 1 week

I purchased this as an inexpensive add on for one of our older, "dumb" TVs. It worked fine for a few days, then we started having major issues with the audio that we've been unable to resolve. The audio track is completely out of sync with the video track, lagging by as much as a full second.

Poor wireless reception

The roku regularly cant find wireless signal so i have to restart it. I should have kept the extra XFINITY box for $10 a mo. Also our Netflix account got hacked right after setting the roku up. Maybe it’s coincidence about the hack, but the signal strength should not be an issue. -not impressed

Cheap Charlie Roku Express
