We do not like the Roku. My husband and I thought we just had to get use to it. Well, it's been months. We do not like it. Not user friendly and the woman's voice is extremely annoying! She won't shut up!

Tried multiple times and it failed to find my wireless network at home. I moved my router to the room next to where I wanted to use the Roku and it would still would not find my network. Returning today.

Tis thing worked fine for a couple of days, then it would even pick up or identify my wifi connection even when I put the item next to the router. A total waste. Do not bother buying it.

I was told the Roku would allow me to use my cable in a room without a cable box. It's a streaming service so everything is not available, there is no guide, and set up is a pain.

This was the second one purchased. Both overheated and self-destructed. No one could give me an answer. Switched to Firestick and no problems yet.

Have other Roku adapters that are great but this one does not turn tv on or off or change volume.... My mistake.... does what it says but not convenient due to lack of features

My old Roku streaming stick seemed to be running so slowly lately but I wasn't sure if it was the Roku or the old 22 inch HDTV I had it attached to. With the great price of this Roku express streaming player I decided to see if there would be any difference and wow. It's like night and day. This little express streaming Roku compared to my older streaming stick is much faster with no lags. As fast as I can click it can go. It also runs the most modern version of Netflix with the annoying auto preview which my older steaming stick did not run. Finally, the remote is great and even pointing it at the opposite direction from the little Roku box commands are affected instantly. They even include an HDMI cable and 2 AAA Duracell batteries with the little Roku box and remote. Amazing value. This is definitely one of those rare "steal" purchases where it seems you really are getting the better deal by a mile. Excellent device and value!

I am taking it back because I don't like signing up for roku and have to my credit card info on site. It says it does not charge you if it doesn't charge then why do I have to put it on

Couldn't get it to connect to the wireless network. Defective in my case, so I returned it and got a Chromecast. We have a Roku in a TV that works though.

A relative set this up but I cannot use a regular controller, cannot change the sound or mute it. If I get my tv hooked up the way I need & want I will toss it in the trash.

This product is not great. I had to updated the software almost every day and then it got to the point to where it would not connect to wifi

We were told to purchase this product to download xfinity app. However, we have smart tvs and we don't need this item.

The unit would show the router under settings but was not able to connect. The password used was correct and another roku unit I had worked fine.

Reboots itself or simply stops streaming regularly without a way to reboot it but to unplug it.

Have no idea about this. It doesn't work on our tv. I think I bought the wrong one. Brand new still have not used it.

Worked fine for a couple of days and then stopped. Had to exchange for the Amazon Fire Stick. Fire stick is still working fine.

This streamer is very average in turn of operation and ease of use. Definitely go with Apple TV instead

The roku ships with defective software that keeps changing the default screen resolution and makes in unusable on some TVs.

Do not buy this product if you need any help. Roku tried to charge extra fees when we called the help desk.

You can hardly get any channels specially live tv!!!! Too complicated
