We bought this for my sister to provide streaming of movies from Netflix and Amazon primary. It was fairly easy to set up and worked very well with her TV. We bought this model because it has its own power supply instead of relying on a USB connection to the TV. Her TV was old enough that it didn't have that port available.

Easy to use. Small and doesn't take up a lot of space

Reasonably priced and problem free, the Roku Express is a great little device. I wanted to get away from the full Direct TV and Spectrum fluff so I went with this and did the smaller $45 dollar Direct TV Now and Spectrum TV. There's an almost never ending bunch of apps you can download as well.

Loved the original Roku and decided to purchase another for use one of my bedrooms. Easy set up and use right out of the box. This is a design thing but I wish Roku would put numbers on the remote for easier channel surfing but you can get one with the new voice remote. Overall great product.

Purchased over 2 years ago. Simple to install & use. Lessens the cable bill instead of having the boxes & rental fee each month for them; they have paid for themselves many times over. Definitely worth the investment. Am considering purchasing two more for two other TVs.

This is a great version for price. Comes with HDM cable to plug in TV. Remote does not have separate on/off so still have to use TV cable. The set up was a little difficult because could not always see instructions on TV. We were able to anticipate since have set up other Roku. It is perfect for our guest room

Great purchase,easy to install and use, good price

It was unclear when I purchased this product that there is not a volume control nor a voice activated control. Also, there is no ability to change some of the controls that allow you to go right to the app you're looking for. Other than that, the device controller is simple to operate without needing directions to learn how to do so. Overall, this is a good product. I just wish I had researched it a little bit better for an upgraded remote

Easy to use, very easy to set up, and network friendly. I can move it from one TV to another when necessary.

I love my Rokus especially with all of the great free apps like Pluto. I put them on all of my TVs and got rid of DirecTV. Now if I could only get rid of my way overpriced Comcast Internet. There is way more free content on my Roku than I have time for by hundreds maybe thousands of hours. Highly recommended.

Decided on this product when reading all reviews on getting rid of my Dish service. Installed an in attic antenna(for locals) and then purchased two of these to install on TV's. Easy to setup and use and I'm currently in the process of using Sling and couldn't be happier. Goodbye over priced satellite.

The best way to describe the Roku is it’s simple to use. It’s not full of ads, menus packed upon menus etc. it’s straight forward. All your apps are front and center. Just select them and go. I also have a couple fire sticks which I love but I wish their menu setup was as simple as the Roku.

First attempt at getting rid of cable boxes. To my surprise, very easy to setup and use. As long as you kept 1 cable box, you can use the roku to access all of the cable features without the monthly cable charge. We were able to even stream shows from the cable Dvr. I am purchasing many more as Xmas gifts!

I decided to drop my cable provider just go with streaming on all my televisions, I didn't know which streaming brand I wanted, so I purchased a couple of Amazon Firesticks and a few of these Rokus, as it turns out, I think I like the Roku the best

I chose not to go with a subscriber service for TV viewing. I am satisfied with the free channels I receive from my Roku

I got this for my non smart tv in bedroom.I got it for the spectrum cable app that you can use the roku as another cable box instead of paying for another one every month. Also it has hulu,netflix and you can stream youtube and other stuff from your phone or tablet. Good product at a good price. Saves me money too

This item was actually easier to install than I anticipated. I used the TV's usb port to power it and the HDMI port to connect the signal to the TV. The unit receives signal from our home's wifi. That was it. It was more effort to load in my Netfix. HULU and other services than to install the hardware.

I used this to stream to a TV in my Office. The WiFi interface works great. Keep in mind that you are unable to control your TV's Power and Volume with the ROKU Remote and the Remote is the standard IR-type so you cannot install the unit in a concealed space. Video performance is very good for the price.

Works great, easy set up! Really reasonably priced

We finally cut the cord with cable and the Roku has made the switch very simple and enjoyable to where we have not had to look back. The amount of apps you can add are great and allow you to customize your Roku to your preferences. Would recommend to anyone looking to make the switch.
