I purchased this to use with my bedroom television after using a larger Roku television in my living room. It handles my needs well, I am able to access the premium channels I enjoy.

This will be my 5th purchase of a Roku product and as always it's the best streaming device on the market. The Express is small, simple, and fast, and the deal I got on Best Buy was incredible at $45. for 2 of them and couldn't be touched anywhere I looked then and since. If you've never tried Roku, don't bother with any of the other streaming boxes (I've tried them all), it beats them all.

This device brought new life to my old tv . It made my old tv a smart tv I can control the device with my cell phone . Easier to install . I am loving it would recommend it any day

I had an aging Android TV box, but got tired of the ongoing Google/Amazon spat. Having recently found a bunch of stuff I wanted to watch on Amazon Prime Video, it was time to find a device that made that task simpler. This is a remarkably effective streaming box. Small footprint, easy to set up and does just about everything I wanted. The only thing I miss is being able to easily cast content from my phone.

This is a great addition to my TV. It has greatly improved the picture and brings in so many more channels and programs. I am very happy with this item and highly recommend it.

I bought this for my parents, who don't have a smart TV. For the price, there isn't a better option to add Netflix, Hulu, and a whole list of apps to an old TV. Set up with Roku is quick and easy. Definitely a great option to add applications and bring new life to an older TV. I have and will continue to support Roku, as I feel they make a great quality product for a very reasonable price.

Easy to setup, price point is ideal. Offers almost every app you could want.

I have two chromecast sticks, I'm a huge fan of alot of Googles products but I decided to buy this for our other TV in our garage. I have to say everything about it is nicer. The UI is super easy for anyone to use, comes with a stand alone remote, and set up is easy like the chromecast sticks. One extra plus, cheaper. Grab one you will love the ease of use of all its apps, its UI, and remote

We purchased the Roku devices for use with Xfinity cable service. With the new Xfinity Stream Beta App, we can access all of the channels and recording we have with our normal Xfinity service. BUT, the Roku remote is TERRIBLE! You cannot scroll the channel guide easily and finding a channel requires slowing scrolling through every other channel. The only "fix" for this is to set up a favorites list of the channels you watch most. The Roku remote needs numerical buttons and/or a page up/down button. So frustrating. Other than this, the device works beautifully and is easy to set up.

Smaller is better to me. It does everything the larger ones do. It does not have the head phones but lets face it who wants to hold a controller and have earphones in?

This device was purchased to use on a non-smart TV for streaming services. It works exactly as advertised. The setup was relatively easy, including connecting it through my receiver for surround sound. I was also able to program the remote controls into my Harmony remote, which makes everything easier. The only odd thing is that there is no on/off switch, but for the price it can't be beat.

Did my research and opted for Roku on both my Insignia TVs I bought last year from Best Buy. Cable Vision is dying and I needed to make the change. However there were many shows that were a "must have" to make me happy. Roku combined with Hulu "live" gives me all ever wanted. Roku was a one time purchase fee and the Hulu is monthly at $39.99, no contract and I can jump off or on at any time. My Internet speed of 6mb is sufficient to work these systems thru my Uverse WiFi. I am a fan and could not be happier. Cable TV is no longer needed to get great reception and programming. I am excited for my future television viewing with my Insignia TVs, my Roku devices and my Hulu service. I should have changed over long ago. But not knowing enough to make a decision to do that was the only thing holding me back. I asked all around about Roku and got nothing but "thumbs up" responses. Check for yourself, ask around, investigate and see for yourself. My second Roku box was purchased online from Roku and is the Ultra version. It has an on/off button on remote, volume controls and other perks that I really like. So any investment into a Roku is a good one.

Comcast recently allowed streaming content using Roku so we invested in a device rather than paying a monthly fee for a new box. Soon we were addicted and replaced all of the boxes in our house. In addition to Comcast we can stream all of the usual content from Netflix and Hulu, plus awesome niche content only found in Roku channels. I can't recommend these enough.

The Streaming Stick I purchased has performed above and beyond what I anticipated. It is an excellent addition to my viewing options. Well worth the price.

Needed to make a 6 year old Samsung TV receive Netflix. Was a bit doubtful it would work but no problems at all with set up and operation. A great product.

I am a late adapter to all the latest and greatest technology. I bought this based on a recommendation. It was an excellent buy. If you dont have cable or satellite TV, this provides FREE content and is a great way to go. The device works flawlessly and enables you to watch movies or tv shows on your tv. Its a great invention. If you dont have one, you should.

The Roku Express is a great solution for anyone looking to cut the cord but not really wanting another box taking up space. It still takes up some space, but its footprint is so small that it hardly seems to matter. With the included two-sided tape, it's simple enough to attach it somewhere you'd prefer it live. The price is hard to beat.

this is the second roku that i have purchased, i set it up as alternate for visitors and school sleepovers it is easy to use and the stream channels have high quality there are plenty of free channels, and my paid subscriptions work with zero issues connectivity is reliable, i recommend this gadget for performance and very low cost.
