We don't have cable so we added this to our bedroom tv. Now we have a ton more options and it can easily be moved to other TVs. May eventually buy another one for the game room.

Perfect for elderly parents

Good if you don't have a smart tv

You can download the Xfinity App and use to stream on your TV. It works fine and includes several other streaming options both free and pay to use. I use it on my second and third tv's and save the $20/month in cable box charges. Check to compare different models to fit your needs. Some have option to turn tv on/off or include headphone connection if needed. Also available with 4K option if you have a 4K tv.
