I bought this Roku for my daughter's bedroom. I'm not sure what is different from this and some of the more expensive ones but it's perfect for her!

My old Roku streaming stick seemed to be running so slowly lately but I wasn't sure if it was the Roku or the old 40 inch HDTV I had it attached to. With the great price of this Roku express streaming player I decided to see if there would be any difference and wow. It's like night and day. This little express streaming Roku compared to my older streaming stick is much faster with no lags. As fast as I can click it can go. It also runs the most modern version of Netflix with the annoying auto preview which my older steaming stick did not run. Finally, the remote is great and even pointing it at the opposite direction from the little Roku box commands are affected instantly. They even include an HDMI cable and 2 AAA Duracell batteries with the little Roku box and remote. Amazing value. This is definitely one of those rare "steal" purchases where it seems you really are getting the better deal by a mile. Excellent device and value!

Are use this on my bedroom TV and it works great. I can stream the NHL network and multiple other apps that I would otherwise be unable to access.

Lost the remotes to two of our Roku sticks & they did not make the correct replacement versions for our stick models, so we purchased these sticks & remotes brand new, & they were cheaper than the limited selection of replacement remotes we were able to find that were sold on Amazon. Easy set up & works great, even on older model TVs

I gave this to my sister as a Christmas gift for her college house. Her & her roommates didn't want to pay for cable, so this allowed them to still rent movies, watch netflix, etc. She loves it so far. Super easy to connect, easier to use.

Very easy set up, easy to use and watch programs, listen to music. Easier to use than my smart tv's.

This is a fantastic product! We purchased it for a room that we do not have cable in. We are able to stream our cable company's app (we have Xfinity) through this device. This eliminates the monthly cost of having an additional box. We are also able to stream so many apps, like Netflix, and more! This suited our needs perfectly. Also, very EASY to setup!

Works very well but not as easy to set up like the other roku I previously purchased but for the price I see why. Still like it very muchgreat picture quality but I did notice come with a small receiver for the remote so it can work. The remote needs to be pointed towards that small receiver in order to be able to access services.

This was purchased to stream services to a non-smart TV. It works exactly as advertised. No bells and whistles, but it delivers the channels I'm looking for. It did require me to connect it through my audio receiver to route the sound through my external speakers. It is also compatible with my Harmony remote. Overall it does the job for a good price.

I am using this device in conjunction with other product for program viewing. The picture quality being received very good without any delay.

Works well as an entry model. Own the Roku stick and 3 and this one operates the same. Direct point remote is taken care of by using the app.

This is a very good streaming device. Easy to set up and operate. I don't get very good antenna reception here near downtown Orlando, so streaming is very helpful. A nice bonus is the Roku channel, which is free. Works well with Prime Now, Netflix, Sling, Philo, CBS All-Access and, of course, Roku. Nothing to criticize, but I wish it had a few more features, like volume control. But for $30, it is a very good deal. Plus, I got a month of Sling and 3 months of CBS All-Access free. Good deal.

I went all in with a ROKU TV so decided to add ROKU to my other TVs. This express works great but you still need the other remote for volume and on-off of TV. I love ROKU but I would go up a notch or two on the ROKU streaming sticks. Someone warned me not to get the Express but I didn't listen. I have now other ROKU streaming sticks and they are all great. Skip the Express.

The Roku box is fantastic. With internet service, it allowed me to reduce the number of cable boxes I needed in the house. It comes pre-loaded with great apps and you can add others. The Roku app offers great shows and movies for free. It can move from TV to TV easily with no problem as far as setup.

I love Roku devices; so responsive and many choices for apps. This version is much faster than the previous but you can't go wrong for $30.

My 9 year old loves watching YouTube but drains her phone and tablet doing so. Roku was the perfect solution for her tv in her own room.

Great streaming player at a perfect price. The player is easy to set up to connect to WiFi and is preloaded with apps for easy streaming. Plays Clear HD picture and comes with a HDMI cable. Upgraded models can play 4K and adds volume controls on the remote. If you just need the basics and 1080p this will work fine.

Easy to install and connect to much older TVs. Does not include the composite cables that are necessary to connect to older TVs though.
