I love my roku player I bought an Apple TV before this one but it was so complicated that I ended up returning it and getting a roku player menú I very easy to navigate plus the app is very usefull when you need to write down your email and password for certain applications I'm very happy with this product I strongly recommend this

I was hestitent at first. It loaded up Netflix and Hulu faster then our previous device we were using. Glad we got this!

We are still getting to know the new Roku and have not had time to find out what all it will do. Set up was easy and we were up and running right away. One thing I am not too happy about is the fact that all of the TV I have found is a subscription to each series. Why would I pay $19.95 to view a series that I can view for free? I dumped Direct because of costs but it seems that I can run from it but not hide.

We've been looking for a way to save money as well as stop wasting our time with the "stuff" presented as excuse for information or entertainment on cable and network television for years. The Roku simply gives us our viewing ala carte. Finally. My only complaint is that we didn't go with this type of system fifteen years ago.

This is our second Roku - have one for our bedroom tv and one in living room. We like the speed of this model to connect to YouTube selections and other free channels. The Roku one was too slow so we replaced it with this model. Well worth the little bit extra in cost. If you object to paying for any tv, this is a good alternative.

Works great, meets your needs, great for sling tv.

It did everything I expected it to do. I'm not the greatest at using devices like this, but very easy to figure out.

We purchased this for our living room so we can on cable boxes and we love it .... we will be getting more of them..

Nice little device. Modern processor that is very responsive compared to my old Roku 2 hockey puck. Does 4K! This device has a little larger footprint but is flatter. Only negatives...does not come with an hdmi cable and the remote does not have the headphone jack. (Have to get the Premiere+ for the headphone jack,)

This was a cheaper way to go than the apple, and It does the same thing. I was disappointed for assuming that a headphone jack was in the remote as some models. This is only important if you have loud people in the house while watching tv, which I do. It's easy to use and haven't had any problems. You do almost need a paid prescription to get any of the channels that are worthy of your time though.

If you want to stop paying high cable bills a Roku device is for you. This Streaming Media Player was easy to set up and works like a charm. Lots of free programming and lower cost Streaming Companies like Sling, You Tube TV. etc. I purchased two of them, one for the living room and one for the bedroom.

I purchased this device after I got my last bill for my tv/phone/internet bundle. It jumped over $40 due to the fact that I foolishly decided to get a dvr for my new tv. Not realizing the extra fees (I won't get into a breakdown but let's just say, buyer beware), I immediately cancelled the hd boxes for two out of my four tvs. Now, I only have regular satellite on two tvs andonly the Roku on my newest, best tv. The amount of channels are great! You can actually live stream a lot of sports events and tv shows as well. The only thing is, you have to have a satellite or cable provider to use the channels without paying for them. So, if you choose to keep your subscription, I would recommend just having a cable or satellite box on one tv and adding Roku devices for all of the others. There have been a couple of instances where the device stops streaming due to either a poor wireless connection or other devices affecting the signal, but overall it works really, really well. I am truly pleased with this purchase and will be buying another one for one of my other tvs.

I installed the Roku streaming player on my older Toshiba TV, it was very easy to do. I am an older person, not that tech savvy, yet I was able to do it rather quickly, You must follow the instructions exactly in the order provided. If you do, you will succeed. I stream from Amazon Prime, it works great.

I am an Apple guy, but prefer this over Apple TV for day to say use. Seems to degrade better if necessary.

Allowed us to return our cable boxes and stream it instead- Lots of free programming and paid if you like

I got this so I could get rid of cable. Works well. Many options for viewing TV and movies. Lags a bit at times, though. But I would buy it again.

East setup. Works great. Doesn't get hot like the stick version. Use with Spectrum app to watch cable.

Didn't realize that it is a stand alone unit. ( I mean you can use it without say Netflix. ) There are so many apps that you have choices of everything such as tv shows, movies, travel, yoga or other fitness, etc. Internet uverse works as a satellite provider too for stations( HGTV) that require it.
