I bought this to stream apps that my "smart" tv could not access. It not only allowed me to get the apps I wanted but had some that my wife liked as well. Since my tv is 4K I got the 4K Roku device. Not sure I needed everything it offers but I am not co planning. Great product.

Compact, easy to understand, just a few commands. At 85, even I surprised myself. Consumers Guide rated it top notch, so I bought it. A trip away from cliché-same stations. New shows, a different path. And you can also find the old shows you missed. Would make a nice gift.,

Wish I had known about Roku sooner. I was already paying for Netflix and Amazon prime video. Great for the family that wants to cut cable and doesn't need to watch their favorite shows live. Sling Tv does give you that option though if you don't require a lot of channels.

Bought for my mother in law as way for her to access Netflix and works great for her.

Bought them for my girlfriend and she's constantly talking about how great they are.

I bought the Roku for another room to stream Xfinity. I downloaded the Xfinity Streaming Beta App. All the channels from my X1 box can now be accessed from another TV. I also get On-Demand and recorded programs with excellent picture quality. So far, so good!

Bought this for my parents wanting to cut the cable cord. They can't get high speed internet so the 4k version was probably overkill. BB had a special going when purchased with an outdoor antenna. The discount on the antenna was worth the upgrade. Otherwise the regular Roku would have been fine for them. Easy to set up. Easy to use.

My mother-in-law loves the close captioning. She is extremely hard of hearing!

I should have got one long ago. Very fast and responsive. In and out and loads apps faster than gaming consoles. Nice free apps that have brought me free movies and live TV as well as reintroduce me to classic toons and shows I watched as a kid. Love the Roku

We cut the cord with our cable company and wanted an option for watching what we enjoyed on tv. The Roku not only has given us many options in viewing but also limitless music options. It has been very easy to operate. I would recommend this to a friend.

Roku solved our streaming problems when our Blu-ray player stopped connecting to the internet after less than a year. It was easy to set up and to use. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stream Netflix, Amazon, Hulu and other services.

I have a family member who wanted to watch TV on a budget. I currently owned a Roku and was very happy with it. I purchased them the Roku for Christmas and they have been very happy with its performance and the amount of shows to watch through the internet.

We replaced an older model RoKu that was starting to act up (after 5 or so years). We love streaming Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, PBS and just so much more. We don't play games, so we don't have a play station or anything like that. The RoKu is the way to go.!!!!
