This Roku Premier is recommended by me an over 5year Roku user. I have tried and still have and use all Roku models throughout my house and office. Riki Premiere is the best one. Voice commands in the remote are a plus!

Had this as an attempt to cut my cable cords. While it worked the way it was supposed to, it did not offer what we get from cable for recording shows and that was the difference maker for us. We don't have time to watch shows so record most of them and watch them later. But for just wathcing, this was really good.

Plenty on popular apps and its fast and responsive.

Great roku player , works great and easy set up ...

Cut the cable cord, purchased 3 different models for my TV's. I've had great viewing with each. This one went in my living room for my main TV, no complaints! From the cheapest stick to this model and in-between, I've had great viewing using Roku.

Has all the apps I needed. Easy to set up and use.

Does a good job streaming. Every now and then the TV comes up with an error message about resolution. I have to unplug and replug the Roku and it goes away. Not sure it was worth the extra over the stick or Express, especially considering the offer for a free month of Sling is only valid for new Sling customers.

I bought this to stream Netflix and Spotify. Netflix on the Roku is awesome, but Spotify? Not so much. I can't access any of my playlists on Spotify, and it would really be great if we could stream artist radio. But alas, this is not the case. So, I'm stuck using Pandora. But that's okay; Netflix works great!

While we have a Roku Express on almost every TV, we chose to put a Premiere on our main living room TV. We plan to upgrade to a 4K set soon, so we wanted to be prepared. I also feel that the UI is a bit snappier compared to the Express.

newer models are available though, i would probably avoid this one

We purchased this unit to replace an older Roku. It was worth the expense. Where the old unit took several seconds to begin streaming, this one is almost instantaneous. No real new features, just a faster easier experience overall.

I purchased a Roku to get rid of my cable box in my living room. I loved it so much that I purchased a second one for my bedroom. I turned an older TV into a smart TV and now can view everything from my cable provider and more!

Since there was only the purchase price, no monthly subscription for the ROKU Premiere I am able to save money by providing endless channels to choose from and allowing me to choose what I want to pay for specific content.

We just got a smart TV and decided to cut the cable. The Ruko Streaming Media Player gives us a huge selection of free stations as well as some that require payment. There are a lot of free educational channels on here as well.

This Roku model is excellent for use with any tv with HDMI input. I have Charter Spectrum TV & Internet service, but wanted to eliminate the need for an extra cable box that I only use occasionally. This does that and more!

I use to have the ruku 2 got it for my grandmother who watches her internationally channels on it but after years of use it was slow and no longer working like it use to so we had to update and boy is she a happy camper

I brought this because my internet provider offers me t.v. to watch online but I don't pay for their cable. I am able to watch that and more using my Roku. I just wish that the remote worked as well as the app on my phone and tablet. The sensor on the remote could use a little help.

I had a Roku Express and was not happy with this product. My neighbor told me to try the Roku 3, but it was very hard to find, so I bought the Roku 4. Please note to buy an EMA for this device, as itneeds a string wifi

Did not work as well as what we thought, ended up returning

I have tried multiple Chromecast and have been sorely disappointed. The Roku is awesome! It plays Google Play items better than Chromecast. How is that even possible? I love it I should have done it a long time ago.
