These are always great for TV that stop update apps or removes app from their smart tv because the TV is getting. you see this a lot with samsung tv. so roku sticks and media streaming devices are always great. What makes this one so interesting and great is that you can stream content in 4k. good buy for any tv especially ones that are getting to old to receive new content or something that doesn't have smart features. And of course they are great for travel if you arent into using the hotel's watered down viewing options.

Only thing I wish it had was volume buttons for the tv. The remote works on IR so you should be able to program the remote to do the volume but it doesn’t have the volume buttons

Roku Product Level Choice

It worked fine and the price was right. I ended up taking the others I bought back because I discovered the next level up (Roku Streaming Stick Plus) was a better value because it had a better remote that included power button for TV, volume, and mute buttons. This allowed me to have one remote out to use for streaming TV. With the Roku Premier I needed both the TV remote and the Roku remote.
