I had one of the first ones that came out and it is big. It was to old for updating any longer. This new one hooked up easily and I had no problem with it recognizing my wireless connection. It updated everything I had on the old one so I did not have to download all my channels again. Was so happy with it I purchased another one to upgrade the one in our bedroom.
