It does bother me how you cannot turn it off. It is small and does not emit any light really at all.

Have all controllers (audio surround sound, DVD cable box, roku) because you will need to switch sound (ss off and tv volume on), tv controller from hdmi 3 to hdmi 2) then roku controller to select what package of channels you purchased) once you do this a dozen times or so you will really discover how simple and easy it is. It's worth it.

Better than the other streaming devices out there
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an earlier version of the Roku streamer (the Express) from a few years ago and then upgraded to a Fire Stick which was good BUT the apps keep crashing. This was a great upgrade from Fire Stick as all the apps actually work. It's clear that Roku apps are much better made and maintained compared to the Fire Stick. Will be staying with Roku for now.
