It has Xfinity Stream, If you have Xfinity TV and don’t wanna add another Cable box to your account and not to mention running up a cable thru your wall, Roku can almost do anything that a cable box can thru Xfinity stream: Live TV, watch movies and much more.

So glad I purchased this Roku it has more free apps and I really enjoy the regular tv programs I can watch for free with the Roku.

Only thing I have against it is that it’s too light. It comes with sticky tape, attach it to something plastic (I attached it to my TV leg), if you don’t the cables will twist it on it’s side :). other than that its the same roku interface, it hasn't changed much in years. knowing its so light i would probably by the stick next time.

Yes you do need internet and make a roku account but its free. The only issue i have if you get hbo max you wont get the audio and subtitle option ..sucks if you have a bilingual family..

Makes a great pocket warmer

I've unplugged and it seems to fix it for a while. The problem with small sized systems is always the heat problem with chip heat and no cooling system.

As a reminder, you may want to try finding a cooler location for your Roku player. For example, avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight, or inside a cabinet (or other enclosed space). Similarly, avoid placing the unit on top of other electronic devices such as cable boxes, routers, or audio/video receivers, as these also tend to emit heat.
