Our LG Nanocell 9 Series didn't support Discovery+ for at least a year after it's launch, so the Roku was a perfect addition.

Price and quality

Christmas sale I guess. Took a while to find out the difference between the two. Express is HD and Premiere is 4k. Answer did not come from store, I asked. BUT from Google.

However, I wanted to watch Disney + on my tv. Once I used for Disney, I had to check out the rest of its features, and let me say.... I was watching all sorts of stuff that I haven’t seen since I was a kid. I was watching growing pains!!!

So much great FREE content it was months before I added HULU basic and netflix and CBS all Access. For less than $25.00 it's more than I can keep up with. And I can change my content anytime that I want. No contracts.

Roku is the best thing going in streaming television. We dropped Directv/AT&T and still get all the shows we watch through the Roku & Sling.

I am so happy it gives you the option to skip intros and recaps. It gives you the option to separate accounts as well. The HD quality is better as well. Overall I love the upgrade of this device.

Gets the job done for an affordable price

Interestingly, the UI is just as responsive as a 2019 Roku ultra I have in another room. The wifi connection in this unit is excellent. I have it upstairs and the router is downstairs and on the other end of the house.

Easy Setup

I didn't like the fact I had to signup but I'm sure that's how all of the streaming devices work no a days. Once you create an ID you can add your preferences like Youtube and NetFlix from there you won't have to login again.

So much so, we have two. One for each T.V. Turns out this unit type works better for me than the wireless unit. Much stronger signal. Both T.V.s stream along with phones and tablets...no issues.
