Online, they insisted on having a payment method for purchases. I did not want to make any purchases. There did not appear to be any way past this screen. I was able to quit the registration and still showed up as registered. Remote was limited.

Great For Travel

Unfortunately sometimes you can’t connect to the internet at certain hotels as the device has no way of letting you see the welcome page/guest login page - but this is the same for some other devices as well (game systems). Almost perfect for the price other than that.

Roku 4K Streaming at its best!

Better than others, and some others don't have it at all. In addition to all the other streaming apps available. Great deal, great price.

Good way to cut the cable cord

Instead we decided to go with Roku and download the App for the cable company (Spectrum). So much cheaper than the monthly rental charge.

If you have a 4K tv you need this...

There are a few apps still not available on my tv’s App Store... so the roku helps me access those apps

Good Product but....

After 2 attempts to enter codes, the screen instructed us to call a telephone number. We were told we had 2 purchase one of two programming plans in order to activate the player. Instead, we went to the Roku website and activated it there for free..

much better than a firestick

Had a firestick, which was not stronge enough to get the internet from upstairs. This Roku has no problem. I am able to get Netflex, HBO MAX, and Prime. I have taken over the man cave.
