Problem is that its not wired for cable. So i got one of these, to go with my upgraded home network (you can read my other posts about all that adventure). Works great!!!

My movies are all on Vudu and Fire TV doesn't have a native app for that. In addition, Roku doesn't have as much in-your-face advertising and it's a much cleaner user interface.

Cheap for a reason

The remote doesn't have a volume button which means you always have to have the other remote handy. I don't miss the microphone button that I never use but always hit by accident.

It kept on buffering and was very slow to respond to command. We looked into options; considered Chrome and Fire Stick but Roku was better option since we were not a google or amazon dedicated household already.

Works well, but tends to overheat

The only issue I have with it is that it tends to overheat. Even in wide open spaces with plenty of ventilation, it overheats and then has an issue with static sound. It’s so bad that I just unplug it every time I stop using it.

Again, it was very easy to purchase online and was delivered in about three days. I will continue to purchase from Best Buy and will recommend to my friends and family.
