I bought this to replace a broken firetv stick, works much better.

Love this item it’s good for streaming when watching movies.

I purchased the Roku-premiere streaming media player with premium high speed HDMI cable and simple remote. I purchased this so I would not have to rent a second cable box & remote from Spectrum. It would pay for itself very quickly. Spectrum box is $8.99 + tax . will have to you if it works well.

Overall, it is what was expected. The remote could be a little more user friendly.

Great product if you want to cut back on cable subscription.

this is my second roku. I got this one for the tv in my spare bedroom. Works just as good as the stick, but the premiere stays powered on all the time. would be nice if it powered down when the tv was off. This one is powered by a separate power source.

Good to navigate and apps. Easy to use, no issues so far. Recommended.

awesome device to have if your trying to lower your cable bill. All I have is High speed internet, my Roku box and amazon prime. I always have something to watch and there is always you tube I can cast to my T.V.

If you want to use screen television and have a TV that's not capable but has it available HDMI port I would highly recommend the use of a roku. Ease of operation and set up make it a great choice for streaming TV choices the value you get for the quality is amazing as well

I cut the cord like a year ago and someone recommended me Roku and I'm glad I listen and bought it as I can see so many shows for free or subscribe to something I like. I have Hulu free with Sprint so I haven't had a need to purchase any subscriptions and that makes me happy.

No problem with streaming programs but have had issues trying to mirror my iphone

I didn't like that I had to buy one of these for each tv, but it works well and now I can see the shows that I like on all the tv's. I wish that it had a number pad on it so I didn't have to scroll through all the channels to change.

Was met at door (Covid paranoia) by seemingly pleasant associate who, after asking me what I needed, proceeded to escort me to the shelf of ROKU's. I told him I wanted the lowest cost model that still included TV on/off and volume controls. He grabbed a unit off the shelf and said, "This is the one." I realized after I got home that he had handed me a unit that does not have the TV controls. So I am stuck with using two remotes to watch TV. I partially blame ROKU for this as they do have too many different models. Plus, when are they ever going to add numerical key functionality? That would be something that would actually be useful!

Wasn’t sure if I would like streaming but it is very easy with the game Roku.

Set up is a breeze and it seems to work fine with 2.4GHz but I was dumbfounded when I discovered that it is not a dual band. The Best Buy employee obviously had no idea when I asked him the difference between the models. Does not work with my Nighthawk as it’s too new and the Roku is using old technology.

I was looking to reduce my cable tv costs by eliminating the monthly "box" rentals from Comcast. This Roku does the trick - ie it pays for inself in 4-5 months and beyond that I am saving money month after month for hopefully many year!

I purchased two Roku devices because we got a Disney+ subscription and could not watch Disney+ on our existing devices. I could not download the Disney+ app on my one year old smart Blu Ray player, nor could I download the Disney+ app on a 5-year smart TV.

I love Roku and have used it for years. This is probably my eighth device (they don't break, I just upgrade). Purchased this one for a TV I put on my deck to watch mlb.tv and an occasional movie. Roku chose the right features to leave out to keep the price down.

Like this better than paying for cable. More choices,and you pick what you want.
