worked okay but overheated then froze

When first plugged in it would work fine. Over time it would overheat and either the sound output would stop or it would just freeze up. Rebooting (unplug power then plug back in) would temporarily solve the problem. I ended up returning this item.

I got the employee recommendation on this and 8ve really loved having a Roku. He didn't make me feel intimidated, which I usually am buying anything like this without my teenage son there with me.

That’s awesome I’m so happy I get to watch from Crunchyroll. Very happy with the streaming services that are available

Great Budget Streamer

This is probably my eighth device (they don't break, I just upgrade). Purchased this one for a TV I put on my deck to watch mlb.tv and an occasional movie. Roku chose the right features to leave out to keep the price down.

Roku - Premiere Streaming Media Player

Also perfect for our older plasma TV (it won’t die). Plus ordered online and pick up at the local Best Buy was quick and easy. Setup was no problem.

Even my roku tv has hiccups from time to time, but this has never had any problems. Great addon and I would definitely buy it again.

If you prefer Roku to Google, Apple or Amazon (you should DEFINITELY prefer to Amazon) it’s a cheap and reliable little device. Roku sometimes take a while to get certain channels and occasionally updates will crash certain channels (happened 3x in 4 years of me owning Roku devices).

Works great no extra antenna needed and so many channels to choose from. Saving soo much money not having cable tv. You get all the regular channel live and all the others

Great streaming device

It works great and when I get a 4k TV down the road I have a device that can give b be the full potential out of the TV.

Had to ax the dish company; made the best decision

Spend less than $50 x month and get all the entertainment you can handle .

It's basically almost plug and play except for the account set up which takes a few minutes. Reception is excellent, channel selection is abundant and my subscription services are accessed easily. Easy, peasey....

Haven't used it a whole lot, but I got it because my cousin has a TV with it built in and loved it. Some free content as well so it you don't have cable, then definitely worth picking up for more content options. Plus you can stream all of the major providers through it as well.
