Go roku

We cut the cable and have roku on four tv’s and have no expensive cable bills. Only have WiFi and with roku get a lot of programs free. Should of got roku when it first came out and would of saved money.

It was interesting trying to return to regular TV programming. There are no instructions found so it became a case of trial and error. Once again it required lots of time. Bottom line, you better have time to figure things out. Then my young experienced experts tried to show me the ropes and they got stymied.

Apparently our "smart" TV no longer kept our sign in info. Now that we are getting used to using the Roku, we will explore cutting the cable cord.

Simple Setup

With many other devices, like Apple TV, you have to hack the device to add a competitor, like Prime or VUDU, but not with a ROKU. 4K UHDR streaming and a non proprietary system makes this the one to beat. This one doesn't support voice commands, but ROKU even have has a device that does.

Cheaper is better

It is unable to turn on the tv by design though. I had to buy a replacement remote for that tv to turn the tv on/off. (my fault for losing the original remote for the tv)

ROKU Premiere for Bedroom

Our bedroom Smart TV is too old to carry the latest additions to the world of streaming channels so this was an easy option, especially since it was on sale!

Chrome cast , fire TV, and Apple TV in one

An in app power button will turn device off and home button turns the device on. With this device you get chrome cast, fire tv and Apple TV all in one. Highly recommend.

Didn't know much about it until I discovered my older smart TV couldn't get the Disney Channel app. This device worked perfectly and I get so many other things to watch. Ended up buying another one for my other TV
