Great for tv

Have had it for a few months now and I'm very pleased with it. We've recently cut the satellite cord and now we use this. Such an array of choices to watch. The only thing it doesn't really have is live sports. A much bigger selection of sports to watch other than the major(MLB, NFL, NHL, Nascar). Have found nhl highlights though.

Awesome Streaming Device

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have Hulu and the TV in my bedroom is not a Smart TV so I always had to connect my laptop to the TV to stream in my bedroom at night and then get up when I was about to fall asleep to disconnect and shut down the laptop for the night. This device connects easily to the TV through the HDMI port and I was up and running in a few minutes after registering the device. Now I can control everything with the included remote and not have to get my tired butt out of bed! Great device. Would recommend.

Easy to set up and use

But the latest streaming apps are not available, since the software is not updated by the manufacturer. I have both a Roku and a Fire stick. My Old Roku was no longer supported. So bought this stick as a replacement. Ver easy to set up and from my previous purchase experience with Roku I hope this too lasts for what seems life a life time !!

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.At first i was hesitant on getting this item because i had seen mixed reviews ... in my case it was on sale so i took a chance on it ... and i guess i was one of the lucky ones because it worked perfect and fit great under my tv and very compact ..Also worked great on disney... netflix... hulu.... and all the other features ... i guess every situation is different but in my case worked perfect and no flaws....

A great alternative to a smart tv

I’ve had a Roku since 2006. The one I had became obsolete due to the upgrade in software and all the new channels, at first I was disappointed, I thought it would last forever. This Roku was recommended by Roku and I’m extremely pleased. Easy to set up, very easy to use and makes your tv smart, if you don’t want to buy one of those when you have a great tv already.
