I had to upgrade my parents Roku as their previous version didn't support Disney + or anymore App upgrades leaving things looking very archaic. I love the simplicity of the setup process and navigating the menus. A downside not offered on this model are the volume controls which can be very useful but still not necessary. All in all, I would certainly recommend because you have a lot of the same features as the more expensive models but at a fraction of the price.

My husband could not love this thing more! He went back and bought another for our other TV and cancelled our cable. We watched Netflix as much as cable and now since the Roku, we subscribe to Youtube TV to get all the other channels on TV . Through Youtube tv we can record just like our DVR did with cable. Oh, and we use Roku to do our Pelaton workouts now too. Also, I like the screensavers and other apps you can add...

This works great. Easy to figure out and give you hours of pleasure watching many movies and shows. Well worth the money.

I've been using Rokus since 2012. This one is fast and a bargain when on sale.

Purchased this to finally cut the cord from traditional cable service. Streaming now using my high speed wifi and loving it. More options and lower cost. Easy to install and set up and if you have more than one, any setting changes you make to one automatically carries over to the other devices logged into the same account. This means I didn't have to log into each service (hulu, netflix, etc.) on every device...one and done.

This Roku device is easy to set up, easy to use, and is very reasonably priced.

We have our Roku connected through our sound system receiver. The streaming quality has been fantastic. It takes a little bit if time getting used to the remote and how to navigate. I don't think we've scratched the surface of what is available through the Roku. As of now we watch Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, and our NHL TV subscription through it. For our needs it has been fantastic. No complaints here.

Have an older TV but the Roku works nicely with it. Very good picture. User friendly and easy to use.

We’re more than happy that we purchased this Premiere 4K version of Roku. Previously, we were having problems with our older Roku’s close caption constantly turning on by itself, so we eventually bought Chromecast. That device didn’t have all the options available so we returned it. We’re very happy to have purchased the newer version of Roku. We recommend the Premiere 4K as it’s a breeze to install and operate.

Cheap and surprisingly fast. Not as fast as an Apple TV or anything, but it holds it's own.

Simple easy to set up. Doesn't take up much room. Didn't have to rearrange anything to hook this up

Well designed, easy to use, and a bargain. I just wish it had a small alphanumeric keyboard to help with searches.

For some weird reason YouTube TV does not allow their app to work on a Sharp Smart TV, so I had to get a device to connect to. Decided on the Roku instead of Chromestick or others. It is very cool the amount of free channels and apps that you have access to through Roku. I use Pluto TV a lot, it has a lot of free channels like Nasa TV, even a channel that plays cat videos all day that my wife loves. I also use the Roku to connect to Netflix, Hulu and others. A very useful little stick for about $35.

I loved the convenience of this Roku, especially being able to connect it to the TV directly and not have to run the HDMI through the wall. Also great that the power can be run direct to the TV USB port. The only issue with this is that it shows as low power when first turned on each time and takes a few minutes to power up. I get a message during that slow time with roku.com/lowpower, but that doesn't do anything. Thought it may have instructions on how to cure the slow start because of low power.

Easier to set up than I thought. Liked it so much I bought one for each room that has a TV, 3. So many things to watch, and for a small monthly fee, subscribe to premium channels. Remote is as simple to use as it gets. Just a few buttons will take you to all the free channels, with dedicated buttons to Netflix, disney+, etc. Fyi they are subscription fees only. Still very reasonable compared to cable or satellite. Highly recommend and save a bunch!!!

I’m just about to ask my cable company to add cable box to my bedroom. Then the sale event at Best Buy caught my eye which unbelievable inexpensive Roku!.. I begin to researched and found out that I just download my cable TV app and I can go from that! Now, the cost of Roku paid itself from my cable company rent fee boxes! Strongly recommended it
