easy set up , nice way to stream movies ,music, for whole family

I haven't used this too much but the limited time I have has been good. It was very easy to install and fairly easy to add channels and watch shows. The only complaint I have was that I took it on a trip with me but I wasn't able to get it connected to the TV in the hotel. Searches on the web indicated that during the connection process, I should be able to indicate that I was at a hotel and then be able to connect to the hotel's internet. I would get the pop-up about being a hotel less than 25% of the time when I tried to connect (and I tried A LOT). I never was able to connect at the hotel.

Roku has it down. Simple interface pretty easy set up and great audio and video.

We have AppleTVs on every TV in our home. However, most of them are the older smaller models, and cannot stream live TV, at least from Hulu. For the such a smaller price (probably less than 20% of the cost) than a newer AppleTV, these fit the bill perfectly. They stream live TV and can view the Hulu cloud DVR. Easy to set up, and perfect to have in extra or guest rooms.

This device allows us to stream services that we can’t otherwise get on our “smart” Samsung TV, such as NBC Sports. I did not need to remove the TV from the wall to install it. The remote works best with the device under the TV rather than behind it. I attached the device to the bottom frame of the TV with Velcro, so it looks like it belongs there with no exposed wires.

Love Roku. It is easy to use. Can't complaint about easy interface.

We added this unit to a "dumb tv" so we could stream Netflix and Prime. Couldn't be happier. Easy to install, great menu, simple to use. Completely unobtrusive. Our old Sony even had all the ports needed for installation. For some reason when the Roku plugged in the TV assumed we would use a supplemental sound bar. Once that was turned on everything worked like a charm.

Finally broke down and cut the cord on cable! While the main TV in our home already had Roku built in, the one in the bedroom did not. We needed something so we could watch TV in there too. It couldn't be easier to install and use. Basically you plug it in and turn it on! Love the ability to have so many channels at my disposal - and they are all FREE!

We installed this on an older Vizio Smart TV that wouldn't update it's apps anymore. We should have done this a long time ago! We're so happy that our favorite apps are working again and we can resume streaming our shows. There is a USB cable included so you can plug this directly to your TV (as power source for the Roku device). The unit does warm up a bit, so just keep an eye on that. FYI, you would need to create a Roku account and put in a payment info (for future rentals or purchases) to set-up the device.
