Too good to be true

Too good to be true? Yes, unfortunately. It's hard to compare the differences between media players by just looking at the box in the store. The problem is this device does not support 5Ghz WiFi and could only connect to my 2.4Ghz network. I live in an apartment building that has many competing WiFi networks around. This effectively makes it impossible to stream 4k content without a lot of buffering. I found that it's not worth it. Maybe it will work fine in a rural area. Otherwise, don't cheap out on streaming hardware.

Strongly prefer the Streaming Stick + version with power, volume, and voice control, better wireless receiver, If you don't need any of those additional 'perks' this unit is fine. UPDATE: Roku just released Streaming Stick + HE with enhanced voice remote and headphones...same price as Stick+
