Upgraded from an express to this premier and boy is it better. Super fast and easy to use.

Hard to decide which cable free setup to use these days, but I think Roku is in the top 2. Easy to attach the little box to the side of my stupid (not smart) tv. Definitely enjoy having all the media apps right there on one screen. Had the original Apple box, but upgrading to the newest on for $160+ didn’t make sense when this was like $25 at the time.

Roku offered the specific apps I was looking for. Setup was easy. The remote control is a bit basic so keep your other remotes handy for volume control and flipping back to your other apps on smart tv or cable. Overall, for the price, it’s a great option if your not-so-smart TV doesn’t allow for software updates to download apps for Apple Tv, Hulu etc......

Love Roku easy to use and has great picture. Easy set up just follow the directions.

I am not very tech savvy but with help of granddaughter got it installed. The plug on the item stuck out from wall when plugged in. I could not plug it in behind my wall mounted TV (even with a tilt feature on the wall mounting) . Had to get a flat extension cord to plug in & then string cord ☹️. Works good so far. Have a smart TV but it was made befor 2016 so some services dont work with it. with ROKU You can go faster to streaming services in one place. Price was very reasonable for features.

This is our 4th Roku in our house. After having the fire stick for years I am blown away at what I was missing. The Roku is extremely user friendly , much faster, has apps and channels out smart TVs from Samsung don’t have and has so many free features and channels to load, and has basic games our son really enjoys. Best streaming device we have ever used.

The unit itself works great, but there is a hidden issue with the Roku remote/unit. The remote works via WiFi, and because of this it transmits a signal that will interfere with your wireless access point signal. it actually competes with it. If you are going to purchase this, first plug it into your router then go into the settings and turn off the signal for the remote. if you are unable to plug it in and are using it via WiFi, place it as far away from your access point as you can.

It is replacing another Roku that was several years old already. Easy to setup, quick, and discounted. Useful for what I intended to do with it.

I can't believe what you can get these days for this price. This thing is pretty awesome. I put it on an outside projector for watching movies on the weekend and it works flawlessly. My friends are super impressed that I can watch YouTube, Plex, Netflix and more while sitting outside around the firepit. For the money, you can't go wrong.

Just gave in and got cable. Already had a Roku box and the Xfinity cable guy showed us the Roku App for Xfinity that lets you live stream all of the cable TV channels without needing to pay an extra $12/ month for extra cable boxes. Plus the On Demand shows from Xfinity stream without the commercials that are in them when watching through the cable box. And can stream all the regular Roku shows and channels as well.

There is a Roku model less expensive than this one, but don't get it. This is the least expensive one that is still fast enough to give you a quick, snappy response on the screen. Doesn't feel sluggish at all like the less expensive model. If you want the cheapest, most reliable way to get into streaming, this is great, and I think it performs better than the Amazon Fire Stick.

Very satisfied with the product. Not complicated to use, no problem to get it connected. Priced right. Would certainly recommend

Game changer for my LG 4K UHD Smart Tv that really started acting up this year, including the apps restarting constantly. Using this Roku has made everything better, especially the speed/connectivity when navigating between apps. I wish the remote still had the ability to turn off the tv, as with other versions, but all around a life saver of a purchase.

I use this device in my office. I had an Amazon one previously. It lasted about 1 year with light usage. I really like the Ruko. The controller, I keep losing, so I bought the tiles to locate it. The older model had volume buttons. The new one does not. Need keyboard to enter passcodes. Next on my list. :). The ruko provides a true smart TVs option that many apps support. My Samsung TV does not offer all of the same channel options. Deducted 1 star for not having volume rocker button.

I original had purchased a Roku TV for the bedroom. Loved the simplicity and the features that i purchased a stand alone Roku media player for the Family Room. When I moved into my new home, I built a dedicated Home Theater Room and needed another media player. I didn't want to get a USB media player and since I really like the Roku simplicity and format, I decided on the Roku Premiere. It's much smaller than the picture, but it just works! No issues with streaming movies whether from Netflix, Amazon Video, YouTube, Hulu ... Another great product from Roku.

This is great for the price. Only wish the remote could configure to my tv to adjust volume and turn it off. Other than that, it is great!

This is a great product if are just switching over from cable and have kids. The remote is easy to use. We have the google chrome and the amazon cube also. With the amazon cube when we talked to it all our amazon products responded making it frustrating a lot of times. I am ok with it not being hands free for the big tv. This is the fifth one that we have purchased.
