    We've had this device since May 31, 2019 and now we are having trouble with it. It keeps saying insufficient power and will only work when it wants to. We have been having problems with it for the last 2 months. Debating on whether to get a new one or not.

    after 2 months of usage, the speaker sound on TV it started being choppy, i notices that Roku gets hot and it started the choppiness. If I disconnect and let it cool down works well until it gets hot again. -I discarded a problem with TV set since I checked without Roku. At the beginning worked well so I purchased a second one that still works okay.

    I’m used to Amazon Fire (before the sticks) and the Roku is more cumbersome to use. Granted, it does much more than the Fire and I’m probably penalizing Roku for the ‘Beta’ Xfinity’ streaming app that leaves a lot to desired except how expensive it is!

    Returned my Firestick and got the Roku. Was told it does the same thing. It took a long time to set up, make an account, link Hulu and Netflix, all that crap. Then one day later it never worked again. Screen was nothing but static so i had to return it.

    Works for about a year or two if you are lucky.

    Worked well until a year later it started giving me low power warning even though I am using the adapter and usb cable provided to power it. Just a cheap product that doesn't have a long life unfortunately.

      Hi there, thanks for your review! It's possible that there may be an issue with either the cable or the adapter. You can try using an alternate cable or power adapter to power the device. If you're currently using the TV as your power source, try plugging the device into a wall outlet instead.
