    Sometimes the program will freeze, the sound will also get very low at times. Can't get all the stations I did with the old one that I had.

    Roku itself works fine but very unhappy with current dispute that does not allow Spectrum app to download. That is the only reason I bought a Roku.

    Got a good picture, but the sound stopped working within the first few minutes. Troubleshooting didn't help. Looking for alternatives.

    This ROKU player is now an average streaming media player. It's better to get the Amazon Fire streaming player, approx. same price but more features.

    Needs to be very close of modem/router.

    I like the Roku concept but this model needs to be no more than 15 feet from your modem-router, otherwise connectivity will be on and off - very frustrating. I wish the BestBuy salesman told me this (my router is quite powerful but is about 45 feet, line of sight, no walls!, from the Roku). I inquired at BestBuy about this and now (too late, it's beyond return period) I am told I should have purchased the Roku Ultra for my situation.

      Other devices currently accessing the network, such as other streaming players, computers, game consoles, and mobile devices may effect the quality of your network connection. You might want to temporarily stop using any such device and check if that makes a difference.

    Bought two of these. They work for what we need. Got tired of getting ripped off from cable. Cut the cord and I am glad I did.

    Works with Spectrum but a pain to use. I have figured it out but another receiver would be more user friendly. Don't need the added fee.

    This is set on a tv I've had a few years. This device is to be plugged in to the tv via USB port to go on and off with the tv. Surely is not the case for myself. Easy fix (use wall USB adapter and unplug to turn off) Definitely not convenient for something in my kids room. Minus the constant use from always being on, it a good device. All app subscriptions work fine. Quality is fine. I'd recommend if you're willing to deal with the always on issue.

    ok but roku tv better than stick had to replace two sticks since they did not support netflix or prime any longer

    Our old ROKU stopped working. It was only about two years old. It is frustrating for me to have to control watching tv with multiple remotes but it works well otherwise.

    Last one i had lasted 1 year. New one is overheating. I another roku that does not seem to overheating.

    It was okay then after 2 days it started to lag and freeze and sometime closes the app which were running. So we returned it.

    Good idea to substitute for cable.However if you want HBO,etc you have to pay like cable TV.Hard to get local channels other then news.

    Pay more for a better version of this. Gets hot. Very slow compared more expensive versions. 3 out of 4 bought on sale are dead. Thought I was getting a good deal at $20 bucks each. I was able to get Ultra for $30 bucks each on sale. Much better product. Never had Roku products die on me except this product.

    This product worked fine, however, I guess I didn't understand exactly what was included in its service. Most of the good channels and shows cost additional fees.

    Did not work so well for Netflix streaming. There were video quality and audio lag issues with 4K content.

    review 4 roko tv purchase at best buy by mail because they don't have any store inventory.Go to walmart they have all u want.

    Not all Rokus are the same. Good in a pinch but wish I had gotten the more expensive one
