I bought 4 of these (guess i'm a slow learner and lazy at returning).... With all but one, had problems. The two major problems are: 1) Poor wifi - I had this Roku literally 10 feet from the router and had a "weak" signal.... stuttered on playback. Plugged in my Ultra and put it in the same spot and had "excellent" signal. The antennae on these for the wifi radio are not good. 2) Overheating - you can Google this on yourself. These units overheat and per Roku's own website, their advice is "turn it off and wait for it to cool down". One of the ones I had got so hot my wife was afraid it was going to catch fire. The cheap price is attractive, but you get what you pay for. I should have just spent the $89 for another ultra to begin with. Love Roku but this form factor (premier and express) is a complete design failure.

Everyone was nice. My only complaint was other customers ordered for pickup but had not paid for items. There were about 10 items. I could have come to store picked it out and. Cecked out much quicker. I saw no advantage to ordering ahead for pickup. I have a bad foot and wanted to be in and out. Can I order items for in-store pick-up without paying first?

Bought this a few days ago and it has worked flawlessly. My only complaint is that it does not support 5ghz wifi so if you have an AC router and like to keep your streaming devices on the 5ghz band this is not for you. Downgraded a star for this otherwise it meets all the other check boxes for a Roku device.

great device to add quality streaming to TV.................

I thought I was upgrading from the Roku I purchased in December after picking up a 4k TV. Although this "Premiere 4k" model of Roku does offer 4k, but it doesn't have the TV power or volume buttons I got on my cheaper HD Roku stick. How can you not have TV power button? After some reading, I guess I could pay another $20 for the Premiere 4k+, but I loose the DirecTV Now button for something called vudu, which i will never use. Became a Roku fan in December and now not a fan in January. How about some consistency?

I’m away from home but want my streaming over cable. Easy to install. The only issue I have is the tv image started acting up since connecting the box . So when not in use, I have to unplug it.

I love, love, LOVE the versatility of this little device, especially for the price! The only downside is that it does provide HDR 4K, but not Dolby Vision.

My ROKU Premiere purchased on December 5th 2019 has started overheating consistently after about 15 minutes of usage. It is operating where it has been for the last 7 months. Its slightly in front of and below a 32" TV, not a particularly hot location at all. When an electronic device begins overheating like this it is a classic failure mode for electronics. When I inquire about a warranty exchange I receive a message that my device is not eligible. I can only assume I had a 12 month warranty that just ran out last month. I am very disappointed with ROKU, expect better quality than this.

The product works great, shipping was fast, the only complaint is that i only ordered one but they shipped two and charged me for it. Now i cant post unless it 50 characters

I thought this was a great price and I have not used the roku before. I am anxious to try it out. I will be comparing it to the fire stick

Been wanting to try for some time. Glad I finally did. Bad news for my cable provider, great for my wallet.
