Outdated Roku
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should have noticed it doesn’t have a power button meaning you have to use TV remote to turn on/off and adjust volume. Cumbersome to use. Regret purchase. Spend more and get one with power and volume controls. This was a waste of money.

Disappointing and Aggravating
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You will here give up all that is familiar and normal in your on-line purchasing, and have to leave the room to enter an obscure code each time you want to buy something, So what was a helpful product becomes a "gotcha." The bad thing here is that Roku becomes the payment hub, and that as a practical matter defeats the purpose in upgrading, Another "bad idea" as with most software changes. Will return this product and revert to our ancient unit vs "upgrading." Original reason for the change was that amazon no longer supports the old units (Roku2), but we can live w/o amazon prime.

Great picture, horrible support

I needed a little help and had some questions in setting it up, only to find on Roku's website that this product does not qualify for any kind of tech support other than e-mail correspondence. Buyer beware!

Have another cord on hand

Conflict with LED lights.

Why no tv volume or power??

I can't believe the even make a model that doesn't control the tv volume or power. Would never have imagined... Now I just need to go exchange it for the stick for $10 more.

If you have technical issues, you are sent to their website and their DIY troubleshooting. No other way to contact them for support of any kind. No email. No phone number. No chat. When a company sells products with zero to little support, that tells me they don't back up their products.

DOESN't WORK WITH U TUBE TV

Better than 60% of the U Tube TV shows lock up and become unwatchable . NO SUPPORT!!. I IReplaced it with a Fire stick witch works great

Posted .Hello, This is certainly not the kind of experience we would hope for you to have and this does not sound like typical behavior. Is this only happening on one channel, YouTube TV?
Sometimes, performing a system restart on the player can resolve this. Other times, you might need to uninstall and reinstall the affected channels, check the status of your wireless connection, or contact the channel's service provider.

No longer supported by Roku not working after 6 mo

No support from Roku (this model was released in 2016, not 2006!), only recourse was to check the community posts which resulted in agreement of buying a new one.

Default audio is not user friendly
