The device works well. It's easy to use. Just plug it in and follow the prompts. It's great to get so many free channels. I like that you can download the Roku app to your phone and use the private listening feature with headphones.

I preferred the Roku Streamimg Stick but only the Roko Premiere was available. The remote is the same for the streaming stick. The receiver is a table top versus a stick otherwise the two units essentially the same. The premiere is cheaper than the stick.

I haven't yet "cut the chord" but this is an important step towards doing that and my first Roku. I found it very easy to set up (and I'm not really tech savvy). I like being able to watch old series for free and will eventually get HULO or another pay streaming service. I will be getting another Roku for my other non-smart TV & should save a fortune on not renting boxes and paying for satellite TV.

Because of all the unrest in the country and all the FAKE news, we were hesitant to keep watching TV. Then came ROKU. Now we are able to watch many subjects of interest (YouTube) and many movies of interest. ROKU, besides being easy to install and program has been a God-sent.

I’ve been testing it for a couple of weeks and works very nice even with a bad internet connection, this device has been used in Venezuela and still shows and movies run smoothly. This device it’s plug in an old HD Samsung TV and it’s working properly. 100% recommended.

This device has been great. It allows me to move from tv to tv and brink the ROKU channel with me. It has plenty of streaming channels on it's apps and the picture quality is always good. I purchased two more for my sons and plan to give them as gifts at Christmas.

Great streaming device for cord cutter. The only issue is that most of the streaming provider require to have subscription. So basically instead of paying the cable company you are now paying the different provider separately.

Here's the best question and experienced answered! On March 21st 2021 i purchased this ROKU but guess what ,I had 3HDMI slots and a USB PORT! My tv is about 6 years old Sharp AQUOS not a smart tv so i figure i hook it up to get the streaming channels it did not work at all! Went crazy for a minute but figured it out. The Roku kept telling me to hook the HDMI to a 4k slot ,LOL My tv was not 4k.I went back to the store and exchanged the premiere for the Roku express, i plugged in and it turned on! Roku premiere is for 4k tv's only! It wont work on tv's that don't have it .Right now sitting back and enjoying the HD colors and sound and lots of channels to stream and search and choose! my name is John from Brooklyn NY, PS after 20 min.to a 1/2 hour the Roku does shut off itself! The express version

Great value! This works very well not sure what the difference is between this and the higher end models. The picture is great and it responds quickly. The only thing to be aware of is it’s wireless only, but that’s how I connect all my devices nowadays.

Originally got the Apple TV 4K, but what I really wanted was great streaming, not just the Apple shows for $ 130 more. Streaming stick works terrific, including turning on the TV and a mic to go to your choices. Pleased it's so portable and we take it with us on trips.

I've tried Chromecasts, amazon fire sticks and apple TVs, but I've found Roku's interface to be infinitely better and more stable, I also like how quick it is to load apps and how each Roku device instantly loads in all of my favorite apps. Great value and great price!

all the popular subscriptions available, easy setup and so easy it can move with you. I take this when I travel for work, the only downside is Hulu is geo-locked but that's not a Roku issue. Also, the Hulu interface gives you the option to update your geo-location without penalty.

The Roku Premiere Streaming media player was easy to install and is easy use. This was my second one. This one is for the family room and my first one was for the bedroom. I have many apps on the Roku and makes streaming so easy.

This is the 5th Roku unit that I have bought. The response is much better than it's predecessors. Set up is easy and the WiFi is easy to connect to. The remote is back to a line of sight system rather than WiFi so you will need to place this small unit where you can point the remote at it. It works with 4K and HDR. It does not connect to WiFi at 5ghz, just 2.4ghz. Also, the supplied HDMI cable is very short (about 3 ft).

Very easy to install. Kids love the variety. Bought it because I needed it for my subscription to AT&T TV. Might be unsubscribing soon. The options are limitless. Love the cool Alexa feature you can ask for a channel instead of scrolling and searching for it.

Of all of the streaming devices I’ve used (Apple TV, Fire Stick, etc.) this is easily the best. Very user friendly, amazing selection of channels, and none of the software issues I’ve had with the other devices (Fire Stick, in particular).

I was watching antenna tv until I couldn't stand what they wanted me to watch any longer, so I stopped about two years ago, altogether. With ROKU, I can stream whatever I want and watch it when I want with no worry of missing a single thing. (Free, even!) That's independence in its purest form. Love it!

We have cut the cable as they say and now use Roku exclusively. These devices were easy to set up and use right out of the box. plenty of options for our viewing needs and we are enjoying our freedom from cable/dish monthly fees and contracts. Good purchase.

I just went to streaming a month ago so I could rid myself of AT&T and the ever-growing DirecTV bill. I do NOT regret it. Roku has been around but I always thought it was, well, somehow weird. NO. This is so easy to set up, so easy to use -- even your grandparents can use it. LOVE it.
