I replaced my old 42 inch ( unsmart) tv with anew smart tv with Roku. I put the old tv in the guest bedroom. Since I don’t use cable or satellite I needed hookup for it. Roku was the answer. I pleasantly pleased with the outcome and my guest are too.

It's a good fast roku replacement from my roku 2xs that does all you need, but if you get the roku stick end model, you'll be able to get the newer controller. Would it be better. Yeah for peoples convenience. My Google nest didn't work a whole lot when asking to change the volume, but asking it to turn off the tv and asking it to play certain videos and open apps works for the most part. If people want to watch your own free movies without paying can just get a google chromecast as there are free sites online to watch videos and cast their desktop onto the chromecast. Most services are not free as like hulu or Disney plus etc as those are apps, like your basically using your phone, but on a roku device. The roku does offers lots of the basic free stuff that they give every month, and other services that can get you watching all day long without any issues at all,

I love my Roku! I finally get to watch a lot of classic shows for free! Way cheaper than cable or dish! There are so many free channels to watch, and if you don't mind paying for some of the subscription channels, you have that option too

This device works great. We stream flawlessly with it. Our Hulu and Netflix kept buffering or not playing with our Blu-ray. We have bought one for every room except one and we are doing that next. Plus there are a lot of free channels and it loads very quickly. I really like that part.

I bought it because didn't have the Disney+ app on my TV, so far is a great alternative. The only complaint is the remote feels cheaper than the other versions, I have a previous version on other TV and you can tell the difference, the buttons were updated like the image. Compared this between Fire Stick, got convince due to the better support on Roku.

The ROKU Streaming media player is another fine ROKU product. The "simple remote" is not as impressive as the the advanced model. I would be sure to purchase the combination that has the higher level remote.

I am so happy I purchased this. I was looking to buy a smart TV but went with this cheaper option which ended up being amazing. It’s easy to set up, easy to use and you can easily move it if necessary. I get to see all my shows with an easy click of a button.

Bought this for my garage tv. Turned an old tv into a smart tv and it works amazingly! Super fast and 1000x better than my chromecast that I constantly had issues with. Roku beats google with this one. I love it!

really like this thing, was so easy to set up, I wish I had gotten rid of cable along time ago and got this, I can watch a lot of channels on it plus I got hulu for 6 dollars a month. payed 40 dollars for this one time and was paying way more than that every month for cable

I bought 3 and I love Roku. I can get pretty much all of the channels that I love to watch. It is so user friendly, quick and easy to look around and search for channels or movies, I love it. I would definitely recommend to others.

I've had a couple of Roku sticks before; bought this for a stepson so he could subscribe to Sling TV. It works quite well for him and he's had no problems with it. The registration can be iffy from time to time but usually they're easy to complete and set up.

Easy to set up and it offers a great variety of streaming services. We added this product after cancelling cable service and it has been a great replacement. Easy search options and has everything in 1 place

Purchased this for an older model Samsung TV that didn’t have YouTube TV app. Love it! Instructions walk you thru the setup process and it’s very easy to use. And for the price - it beat replacing a perfectly good TV.

This is great device for streaming shows. Inexpensive and sound quality.

This little device works just fine using mobile hotspot technology. I already have one Roku on my main TV, and this one was intended for the vacation cabin. Plus I got it on sale. I am definitely a Roku fan and a Best Buy regular.

Had talked about how to use our spare TV in the bedroom for a while. Read about Roku and it works! Really pleased with the range of programs available. Relatively simple to get it up and running. Good purchase.

We love our Roku’s! They are a great way to turn your tv into a smart TV. The sticky tape does end up wearing out that attaches it to your tv so plan to have to replace that part. Otherwise a great product and super easy to use.

I upgraded to this from an earlier version to be able to stream 4K content, which it does nicely. The external receptor is an added bonus for my system since my rack is very crowded and can interfere with reception when the ROKU is plugged directly into my OPPO.

I have Rokus throughout my house, much more practical than regular cable TV. Works awesome on not smart TVs and those slow smart TVs that take a long time to open apps like Netflix, using roku is so much better.

bought this to replace my fathers old 4k roku that booted slowly and didn't want to display half the time and dear god is this thing loads faster. granted you are sacrificing ethernet and expandable memory but its on before the tv finishes turning on.
