Fairly simple to use as my intro to ROKU. Interruptions for loading in the middle of streaming sometimes cause me to miss part of the program. My modem is upstairs and my ROKU device is downstairs, perhaps causing interruptions for loading on some channels more than others. Activating channels worked better from my computer than my cell phone.

Does exactly what it advertises. Although I am used to my Fire stick and I like how you can give commands through the remote, this one does the job through the mobile app.

I purchased this for my parents to introduce them to streaming content while they were staying safe at home. They were able to set it up on their own and have enjoyed the new options ever since. I own one too and find it really convenient to use.

I use Roku on most of my tv's so that I do not need to rent a box from my cable provider. They pay themselves off in two months. Also, allows me to use Hulu and Apple TV on all of my televisions.

Bought two of these to replace older versions...the interface is a vast improvement and smoother over the older models and use is simple. New versions allow for better use of Apps...I like the interface for the Roku vs other options, and regarding connectivity - they have been very robust - I have not lost/dropped a connection yet...

This is very good for streaming and I definitely recommend it. Roku has all the options (including Apple TV app too). It’s pretty great for what it is. I definitely recommend if you have an old smart tv that doesn’t get updates or if you have a non-smart tv.

Skeptical at first but got it on a sale - quite astonished how good it was. Apple tv would hang some times and needed to be restarted but never this one. This is highly recommended for anyone who has sling or disney+ subscription.

If you dont have a smart tv that you can add apps this is a great device to have. Its has all the apps I need to stream movies or TV shows. My wife and I use it all the time. The only set back NO POWER BUTTON. If you turn off your tv it stays ON never turns off. At first we were just unplugging the power cord so it turns off but all you have to do is connect it to the TV usb port instead, not the wall outlet and it turns on/off with your Tv problem fixed.

bought the Roku after a few years with both Chromecast, and Fire TV. Roku is proving to be the pick of the bunch, easy to set up, use cable log ins etc. Will be buying a 2nd one for the bedroom TV.

After subscribing to Netflix, we discovered that it could only come through on one of our televisions. In order to watch it in the rest of the house, I only had my tablet and iPhone to use. But by purchasing the Roku, I can now see all the Netflix I want on the other tv.

We already have two Apple TVs but we didn't want to spend that price for our bedroom TV which we use only about half an hour each night. Roku fit the bill perfectly without having to break the bank. No issue at all once you get used to it.

Set up was super easy and you get a couple of apps preloaded such as Netflix, Disney Plus, hulu..etc. You also get Roku's own channels you can watch for news, sports and home DIY. I am thinking of cancelling my cable once my contract is up.

Purchased this streaming player for an older TV that doesn't have the built in streaming apps. Works great with many options for free content as well as pay services. Easy to perform the initial set-up using the on screen prompts.

Good picture. Easy to install and use. Good selection

Picture is clear, it’s in a room that I don’t use to watch too much tv. But want to have ready when I drop cable. Still have learning to do but I like the product. I really wish it would also pick up abc, nbc, cbs, Fox & local PBS stations. The antenna is not always reliable for me. They are commercial channels there should be no issues with licenses but as always creed takes play.

It does everything it says it will do. It allowed me to get rid of my small Comcast converter boxes and, it was a Comcast employee that told me this. Those little boxes run $6 a month, but you only some of the channels you pay for and you still can't access your DVR. Add the Roku, download the Xfinity Stream app onto it and you can see your DVR, set and watch recordings and have every channel you get in the other room available to you. It'll pay for itself in no time.

Great streaming service, have an old lady tv, plugged this in and now it's a "smart tv" lots of apps to download with free content and the usual Netflix, Hulu and all your favorite streaming apps. Easy to use and connect
