Roku has done it again. Great little unit to plug into your TV, etc. Easy to set-up and get great content. I use this with my Comcast subscription to stream into my regular flat screen. Nice easy to use control and has 4k. Lots of stuff to use, Including Netflix and other streaming services.

I've purchased three for family members and this is my second one. You can change themes now, and it's very easy to do a general search for any movie and Roku will show you a list of apps the movie is available on. The interface is easy and loads fast. Great little device!

So far it is ok but it would have been nice if ther was information letting one know that this runs on your modems 2.4 gig system. There is no way whatsoever of connecting to a 5.0. This system does not even recognize that there is anything other than a 2.4 option. I would have gotten a different model if I had known this. No where in any of the Roku discriptions could I find any mention that the programs ran on a dual modem or any information about this at all. I think this is very out dated and when I finally was talking to someone at Best Buy about Router/modems and streaming systems etc. It would have been nice if these things were mentioned to me instead of my having to find these things out after I had bought the products and was trying to install everything and wondering why instillation was not going as I was told it would. I am getting a lot of buffering which I was told would not happen with the products I bought. The quality is good when it is not buffering. So I do not know if it is the modem. The fact that it is running on the say part of the system as everything else which is what I was trying to avoid, or if it is something Comcast is doing.

Huge improvement over the original Roku box I replaced. I had to replace an older box because it was no longer supported by Roku. I was very impressed with how small the new box was. Was able to mount to the bottom of my TV. The speed of the new box is a real improvement over the older model.

My mom’s Roku device was over 4 years old and was showing signs of it’s age - it couldn’t even receive Disney +. This device is extremely fast and can compete with any other streaming device. I went with this as it was a bit cheaper than Amazon’s offering and I have absolutely no complaints.

I have a nice tv but its not a smart tv, so I bought this. Works perfectly. My other smart tvs, the apps can be wonky. but not this. The only downside is that its always on, and it can get a little warm when streaming for a while. Great deal, works great

Samsung terrible software integration for “smart” tv apps. ROKU solves that problem perfectly! Works great for me! Ease of install, operations, and simple interface! I like that! It just works! Samsung take a lesson learned, you should gift every one of you tv owners a ROKU!

I found this to be a good product. Easy to install and set up. I need it to bring streaming on vacation. My home TV has streaming capability built in. Very small device, takes up little room but is very powerful. Can be used with the Roku voice remote control.

I’ve been a long time Roku streamer user since the beginning and am impressed how they keep improving each time at a modest price. This 4K device at times make it more cost effective to buy a 4K non smart TV along with it and save $100 dollars

    Cost-Effective Replacement for Cable Box

I purchased this to eliminate the need to rent a box from my cable tv provider, who is also my internet provider. I am not eliminating cable boxes completely from our home, as there are times that our internet goes out, while our cable service continues to operate, so I don't want to be totally dependent on streaming devices. The picture quality is comparable to the cable tv quality. When I go to the cable provider's app on the Roku, the channels are displayed on a menu to the left of the screen when I press the arrow key. In order to move to another channel, there is no way to input the channel number, but rather I have to scroll through the entire list of channels to get to the channel I am seeking. Also, for some reason, the MLB Network channel on my cable service is missing from the channel listing on the ROKU. So to watch that channel on my cable service, I have to watch on a tv that still has a cable box. This could be a problem with my cable provider's app. I have an MLB Network annual subscription that allows me to use the MLB App on the ROKU to watch any out-of-market game, so I can go that route, but it is a little more trouble, and I cannot flip back and forth between cable channels when I watch on the MLB app. Also, ROKU has no agreement with NBC Peacock, so I cannot watch Peacock on that television. So there are some limitations, but overall, it works pretty well.

What's not to love? Streams effortlessly and the picture always looks good. This is my 5th one in our house. All of our tvs have this except our main TV its built in streaming. These are perfect for anything that takes hdmi. Even on road with hotspot!!

My brother introduced me to this device. I decided to cut cable tv and use internet tv. This device made it easy to do so. I love how you have the selection of apps right on the home screen. I have a google chrome and an airTV. This works better than the other two.

The streamer, in and of itself ,is fine. Works great. The remote, on the other hand is missing a couple key features, IMHO. 1) no power button, 2) no volume controls, and 3) no programmable buttons. 1 and 2 require having to use multiple remotes when Roku has a remote that does these things, but it is not bundled with the Premiere. #3 is not a deal breaker, but again, Roku has one that does.

Bought this for my daughter since her tv is not a smart trans her Blu-ray player somehow made streaming impossible. Once we added the roku streaming worked faster than my smart tv. The devise was easy to install , even a 70+ tech challenged person could get it working in five minutes

bought this for my daughter and son-in-law. They picked out this model and said they are very happy with it. doesn't take up a lot of counter space, is easy to use, and better than their older single serve model that had to be refilled after each cup

Works great! We love Roku. We have one for each of our TVs. We started out streaming years ago with a Chromecast, then Amazon Firestick and just find the Roku interface and speed hard to beat. Bought this on a Black Friday deal, so I got a great price.

This version of the Roku has everything you would want and nothing extra. Supports 4K, is super small and works great. There really isn’t any reason to get the Ultra over this one unless the wired Ethernet connection or SD card slot is important to you. For most, this probably isn’t the case.
