Ruko is easy to setup and easy too used. Love the free channels and bought because cable is more. The control is easy and the machine is small and fits in a lot of places and one thing I really like One hundred percent happy.

Great streaming device at a decent price with 4K support . Performance is at par with Amazon fire tv stick 4K . Bought Roku because of free Roku channel and other apps which are not support by Amazon such as FandangoNow , Google Play movies tv . Highly recommended.

I recently switched from FireSticks to Roku in my house and the Roku is much simpler to use. My Mom is not tech savvy at all and is able to understand and use Roku easily. Picture is great and the price was good.

When I cut the cable, Roku was the centerpiece of my streaming tv buffet. Its the lowest priced device and has no monthly fee. You build around Roku from an assortment of streaming services that in combination give you your favorite channels without the waste and cost of cable or satellite. To my Roku I added channels like Sling Blue, Netflix, youtube tv, NBA League Pass, and others that are relatively inexpensive, most of which can be canced in a month. Not NBA , that was a splurge. If you are ready to cut the cable, start with Roku. You can even use it alone. It has plenty of free channels, including local news and weather, PBS, movies and more.

After seeing how easy the GUI was in my Ultra version, I decided to purchase the Premiere version for my tech-challenged senior mother. Both the menu and the remote control are easily navigable for her and it only took ten minutes for her to start watching on her own. Another plus for her was the Spectrum TV app, which allowed her to stream her cable package. As a result, she returned her cable box and will no longer pay a rental fee. A few days later, she decided to purchase three more Roku Premieres to replace all of her set top boxes, lowering her cable bill even more. The Roku Premiere is simple, will save you some money, and it allows more bonding time for mothers and sons. :-)

I am not a fan of satellite TV and got tired of the high cable bills. I looked into the fiber optic cable alternative, but could not get the price/installation quality I wanted. Roku turned out to be the best option. I use my providers internet application option. I don't pay rent on any boxes. I am limited to a certain mix of channels, but all I need is available. In addition, Roku provides many free programming options for movies and older TV shows you can watch on demand. You can also add many of the pay services like CBS All Access if you like. I got the Roku units on sale for 25% off. The cost of the Roku units will be paid back after just 3 months with this new arrangement. After that I save $80 every month. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the on demand service from Roku sometimes hangs up or buffers frequently. This has happened 3 times in 2 weeks for about 10 minutes each time. It is not caused my internet service because I monitor that and there is plenty of bandwidth.

For me longevity is the most important factor in a product that works well. This product is still working very well. No over heating or stalling. Smooth transition from station to station. Would buy again.

when it comes to either streaming the latest channels or teaching an older TV new streams. Roku is intuitive, priced well. And opens up an ever expanding world of channels both free and subscription. Its the next level.

Was purchased on sale and used to replace an older (2012) unit in a spare room. Worth the upgrade for faster performance. Happy with the device, especially since it is a fraction of the Apple equivalent and has 4K.

I don’t have a cable line in the bedroom. I was deciding wether to do Ruko or another Apple TV. I choose Roku because the cost was way lower. I have owned sticks in the past and they always failed. So I bought this model. I am able to play the xfinity bets app and get my local channels. You tube is picture perfect and loads up videos on the YouTube platform relatively fast. The only downside is the xfinity beta. The control takes forever to scroll through and get favorites. There is probably something I could get for my phone to make this faster, but I have enough on my phone already. And it does get warm. I have it in its own corner and am mindful to not lay anything on it. My friend tried it and bought one for her own house. Highly recommend.

Great product. It allows me to stream content on my non smart TV. It is easy to set up and value priced. I am planning on purchasing additional Rokus for my other TVs

I’ve had a Roku before so when this one was on sell I had to get it. Prefer it better than the fire stick as it runs smoother and it’s easy to install especially on projectors and other devices as well.

great picture quality just like my previous Roku streamer, good for tight space behind the tv, if space is not a problem, go with the new Roku Stick 4k as it has faster Wi-Fi.

Roku Premiere works better than I expected, so east to set up and has all the apps that one needs for viewing all the shows and movies. The price is great to for everything that one gets with the device. Just simply AWESOME.

I've had second generation Roku and wanted a 4k capable Roku to go with the new television. I was a little taken aback by how much smaller the Roku was. The performance, however, is excellent. The picture is phenomenal, as is the sound.

I purchased this Roku to stream Netflix on an older tv. Just followed the onscreen instructions and was extremely easy to set up. It runs smooth and the picture quality is great. I was surprised by the amount of free movies that are available.

I went to streaming tv from cable. I have 3 tvs and only one is a smart tv so I fought the rook so I could stream on one of the sets. Its easy to set up, works well (better than a stick), and was available for a good price

Works right out of the box, ease of installation, small size and simplified remote makes this the best streaming device. I own Apple TV but the Roku is much more user friendly to non-apple and apple users alike

I was using my smart TVs smart hub. Holy cow ignorance is bliss. This is fast convenient and easy to use. I like the app i can download on my phone so i dont have to have another remote out. Seriously buy this this its worth the 40 bucks.

The first streaming device I bought was cheaper but was incompatible with YouTube.TV. This one worked perfectly right out of the box, It was easy to access and setup and has performed flawlessly for two months now. I would recomend this to anyone!
