I went into this knowing zero about streaming, all I knew is I wanted SO many channels I had no access to. Picked this gem up for a bargain price, came home (and I'm NO TEKKIE) was installed, up, and running in under 1 HOUR! ROKU has a great following and highly regarded, now I know why firsthand...........these guys ROCK! They offer a gazillion options; we only use the "Free" services, (which there are many and great), but you can purchase some "Highline" services if that's what you desire. We couldn't be more pleased with this purchase, and still finding more options as we go...............HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Streaming my xfinity channels on Roku, works great!! Easy setup of Roku and XFINITY app. Takes a little time to get a custom to Rokus remote. They have some work to do on the Remote.

The Roku Premium works well. It is easy to install and gives people with older TVs the opportunity to enjoy streaming sites not available without this device.

I’m not quite ready to cut the cord (I’m a sports freak), but I put this on a couple of TV’s that I only use occasionally. Super easy to install and use. Great picture quality.

With the move to digital cable, our cable company now requires a device to be rented in order to receive channels on our digital TVs. And even though I subscribe to premium channels, these channels could only be see thru the main cable box; not on these other distributed units. The Roku was great. Installation was easy. The there's even an app for my cable company. Once installed I could view ALL of my channels, including the premium ones that I pay extra for, and no longer pay rental fees. Keep the cable box for the main subscription and TV. Get Roku for every other TV in the house.

The day I purchased my Roku - Premiere 4k streaming media player I was told I should have gotten Fire Stick because it offered more options. So I put my device to the side and was going to return it. Then I decided about two weeks later to use it to see what Roku had as programming. I am very happy with my Roku device. It provides enough of the things I watch and more. I can add channels and delete them if I desire. I wish I had tried it earlier. The value was nice also.

Very easy to use and is a complete solution for streaming. It has many channels to choose from. Is very small and comes with everything needed.

I finally decided to ad roku and love the streaming. It was set up to work with my harmony remote so is super easy

This is a great streaming player for the price. The installation/set up is very quick and the user interface is easy to use. Most of all, it comes loaded with tons of streaming apps all of which can be updated to their respective latest versions. If your TV doesn't have apps like HBO NOW or Disney+, this is a good way to gain access to them. The streaming quality through the Roku is also nice and seems smoother compared to streaming directly through the apps installed directly on my smart TV.

The new Roku 4K streaming media player is much better than the older models I owned. I’m amazed at how this teeny,tiny little box can produce such content and picture quality.

This Roku works great. I actually was considering the Roku streaming stick but saw this product for $25.00 less. I have taken it on vacation and hooked up to the systems at my resort and it worked flawlessly. It did take about 20 minutes to setup with all my subscriptions and preferences to choose, but it was well worth the wait for a one-time setup. Even though this is a little larger than the stick, the HDMI connection is probably more universal than the USB on the current offerings of televisions on the market. Great Buy at Best Buy!

In general overall. WiFi only supports 2.4ghz. User interface is nice and useful. HDHomerun app a bit challenging to use with the limited 4 way navigation, and can't have a favorites or most used channel section. Setup with various services works easily including Netflix, Google Play Movies, YouTube, Pluto, Pandora, etc.. Would suggest paying $10 more to get the Stream Stick + since it includes a 5ghz WiFi radio, claimed better reception (though it seems only on par and equal), and the remote on the Stream Stick + support non-line of sight (don't have to point to Roku box), supossedly suports voice, and also powers on/off TV and adjusts TV volume.

This player allows you to watch cable TV without a box. You can also stream other apps as if your TV is a smart TV. The picture quality is HD and looks awesome!

Perfect size for handling. With the push of a button you can switch to Hulu and other streaming services without having multiple remotes.

Love the small footprint and easy mounting provide. Out of all the streaming boxes, Roku is my favorite as they offer more services than any other. Great quality 4k and easy setup.

As a semi geek when it comes to electronics I figured instead of having a cable box hooked up to my tv I would get streaming device hence the roku. Now the item was nicely packaged in its retail packaging. It was nice they included the usb cable and the power block. I plugged the roku into the back of the tv hdmi and I plugged the power supply in and the roku turned on. Then it had me go through the set up which took awhile but not bad. After the initial set up it was basically easy to navigate. The control is smaller but they included batteries and the remote has a tag on it that read roku so I don’t get them messed up. The only town down falls I find with this device is when searching for channels through spectrum cables app you cant just dial in the number you have to scroll to find the channel. And 2 you can’t control your sound bar.

I purchased the Roku premiere 4k streaming media player from BestBuy for four of my tv's and never had an issue with them will highly recommend it

Quick and easy set up. Good for access less frequently used tv. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of higher priced roku, but works well. Good picture and good speed. Need to have direct line from remote to roku.
