    This is my second Roku stream bar that the sound has been messed up. Ive replaced chords and lines so i could elimiate that as being an issue. I will now be returning it AGAIN and requesting to exchange for a different device.

    Terrible product!! It stops working and then you continuously have to restart it. The volume cuts out,the video freezes. When you try to contact roku support they just run you around in circles on their website.

    Sometimes OK, Often not.

    The sound is Ok. Too small for base sounds. The problem is regular drop outs from the router/modem. Constant re connections and the device is only about 12’ away. The on off button drops off for the SONY Bravia TV it is connected to requiring constant reconnections. Do not recommend.

      As a tip, you can check the strength of your internet connection by going to Settings > Network > Check connection. This will test the quality of the signal and also measure the speed of that connection, to be sure that your signal is strong enough.

      If your router and Roku device both support 5GHz, you could also try connecting to the 5GHz wireless network for improved network strength.

    Not a great soundbar.

    Not as nice as I thought it would be. Glitchy and slow to switch between apps. Sound quality is not as great as they would lead you to believe. I use Roku devices in all rooms of my house and this is my least favorite. It functions, but if you're looking for a nice sound bar, this isn't it.

    Works as advertised. I purchased to fix sound fluctuations (no more super loud annoying ads!) and also to add Bluetooth to my tv. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

    Purchased this product a week ago. It kept resetting itself after 3-5 mins. Video audio quality was outstanding when it worked. Tech support was of no help other than to say return the product.

    I am giving this a 2 not because of the quality of the Steambar but because I can't get the darn thing to work with my Frontier cable. I am pretty good at this stuff, but this one has me baffled.

    Purchased this and my first impression was it was a great devIce but about 2-3 months in it started to sound like a speaker was blown on it I played with the settings no improvement. Contacted customer service they eventually agreed to replace in. Second unit worked great at first but now several months into the replacement I’m having the same issue. I love Roku devices but would not recommend it to anyone

    Odd choice that this lacks the ethernet port and micro SD card expeansion and remote finder on a more expensive device than the Roku ultra. Dealbreaker

    My smart tv isnt as “smart” as id like. Some apps werent available to my surprise. Thankfully, the dvd player is smarter, so i can access the apps through it

    I have a Roku but I also use an antenna for local channels and getting the remote to work for the TV has been quite a battle. The sound is subpar in my apartment and the AirPlay from my iPhone has presented some challenges as well

      For your remote troubles, we may recommend enabling CEC. This allows commands to be shared between devices over the same HDMI connection as audio and video, letting you control common functions of different devices without having to juggle remotes.     This is a piece of junk and if you read the online reviews you will find most people have had a problem with them losing the center channel sound at some point. Now is nothing more than a paper weight.

    This is NOT a great soundbar at all. My tv speakers were actually better. Does the trick in syncing with the tv and helping navigate the apps on a smart tv, but sound quality is lacking.

    Steambar sounds worse than just TV speakers. A electronic buzzing sound emits from the streambar. Tried multiple ways to get a response from Roku support over 4 days. Returning this device today and going to get another brand. I'm done with Roku!

    Choose anything but a Roku -A once loyal Roku user

    I have been a loyal fan of Roku devices since they came out purchasing for friends and family over the years. This was an upgrade for one of my units that I kept receiving emails from Roku regarding stating it was going to soon be unsupported. Soooo I went out and got this stream bar. First let’s start with the installation which should have been extremely simple. There was an issue with part of the compatibility on my TV so I called tech-support. They were less than helpful and told me to return the product but while I was on hold I decided to just push really hard and realize that’s all it needed the product actually did work with my TV And customer support was just incompetent. While the stream bar did connect I then found that the remote was defective. Back to customer support, the rep man’s claimed how batteries worked. I simply explained that I had to push the back of the remote and bang it against my hand for the batteries to connect explaining how batteries really do work. They stated they would send a new remote. It took two weeks and I had an on working stream bar for that entire time and no access to any of my channels. Once the remote finally did show up I am very disappointed in the sound quality or what I paid for. I wish I would have stayed with a simple Roku player. It’s a big thumbs down for me. Roku has lost my business as well with their horrible tech and customer support. They clearly do not want loyal customers. Find anything but a Roku.
