    Won’t load any of the streaming apps it has one it just constantly goes back to the Home Screen after opening an app.

    Yoooo, small, competes with my Sony AND LG, POWER is REAL with this one. If you in an apt or shared wall of skip the large one or the sub, but ONLY because this bad pot has SUCH rich bass!!!! The ease of set up has improved an the delay in the unit is gone. NO LAG!!! It comes wireless but the right USB adapter can get you wired up easily....tbh it’s survived a 6 foot all (my Apollo is 3.5yrs) and no marks, and no change in performance! Well done, this is a win with my projector!!!

    I will return this, it won't work with my Sony Bravia TV. I used the help section on the Roku site, called five times, got zero help.

    Didn’t care for this product. Once installed you have no control over TV speaker and it didn’t sound so good. Returned same day.

    It was really cool at first but now im getting static sounds when there is base. Is there a fix for this? Can i return it?

    Just Don't! Had they not ran out of the regular ROKU, I never would have bought this. Taking it back soon!

      For optimum sound performance, ensuring you have proper placement is key. Be sure that the front edge of your Streambar is flush with the front edge of the shelf it’s placed on. You'll also want to avoid placing it inside a closed space like a cabinet or TV stand.

      As an additional tip, you can fine-tune your listening experience by adjusting settings like sound modes, speech clarity, and volume modes. This should help to tailor the audio settings to your liking.

    Have AV, will travel

    I love Roku and hate the stifled sound on most hotel TVs, particularly in being able to hear dialogue. After I read the advance reviews, I pre-ordered this little beauty to bring along when travelling. I brought it home from Best Buy today (the first day it was available after they pushed back the Oct 20th release date), set it up and ran the system update using wireless (which tests at 91 Mbps on a Wireless AC network where other devices can get close to 200 Mbps). Once I did that, I plugged in a fairly ancient Delphi G USB 2.0 to Gigabit Ethernet adapter (Asix AX88178 chipset) booted into the Roku and it then recognized the device and let me set up Wired network (which tests at 135 Mbps on a Gigabit network where many of my devices test at close to 800 Mbps). I travel with a reasonably fast router and a laptop Plex server and wanted to be able to plug this device into the wired network. Success! I tested the sound with Silence of the Lambs (which has a bass-heavy vocal mix) and A Walk in the Clouds (which has a soft vocal mix that can be hard to hear at times) and the dialogue sound was excellent with both. With the Wired network option via USB confirmed, this is everything I was looking for. Like all of my other Roku devices, the build quality is excellent. When picking up the box at Best Buy, the fellow at the counter was marvelling at the specs and the heft of the box. We still have Roku 4's going strong at all 3 of our home TVs, so I expect this will also go the distance. Out of curiosity and because I already had an Amazon Basics Gigabit to USB 3.0 adapter (Asix AX88179 chipset), I powered down, plugged it in and booted the Roku. It would NOT recognize the device. I restarted and checked again but still no recognition. That confirms my research, which is that the Asix AX88178 chipset/USB 2.0 is the one you need.

    Amazing sound in a small package!!

    I purchased this to upgrade from my 5 year old Roku Premiere not because the older device had quit but mainly for the addition of the sound benefits over my TV speakers. I was not letdown as the Streambar was very easy to setup and the sound quality is great! I like the ability to add bass when wanted but just on the normal setting, this unit performs! You do have to either setup a Roku account or remember your previous user and password and have either a cell phone or computer for email verification but other than that, setup was a breeze and I was up a enjoying in less than 10 minutes and that was with the unit downloading the updates. Another feature I liked was that during the setup, it asks you what type of room or setting the unit will be used in and gives you the choices! I highly recommend the Roku Streambar!
