easy setup, love the sound. Good option if your tv is not a roku smart tv. Wish there was mounting hardware available (there are spots on the unit but no hardware as part of box)

I'm glad it has Roku built-in. It sounds great for the bedroom,I couldn't say for the living room. Depending on how much space and the way the rooms are.May need bigger Roku Speaker or may need add-ons.Great Price though!!

This Streamingbar by Roku was easy to install. The picture is way better then cable. The sound bar is movie theater quality. A great buy, easy to use and viewing choices are limit less.

I waited far too long to buy this. Great sound for a small room and the convenience of all of my streaming apps managed in one control has been a lifesaver. Very affordable too.

This unit has all the same great streaming you would expect from Roku, but the real benefit is the speaker. The speaker is WAY better than my TV speakers and is a competent sound bar. This has replaced my current sound bar and has a coupon of benefits above my current. First, the unit stays on and doesn’t go into a power save where I need to turn it on every time I turn the tv on. Second, it has a volume meter that appears on the screen. My old sound bar did not do this. Lastly, you do nit have to be using Roku to use the sound. You can be on any input and it will still work. Great product!

The Roku stream bar delivers excellent picture quality, it is easy to set up and use, and has loads of content channels, both free and pay. The sound is good, much better than the built in tv speakers, although I would not say it is stellar or exceptional.

Great soundbar. Easy to use. Only complaint would be novethernet port. But wifi works fine

One of the main reason I bought this is because it can be hardwired to the internet. I have had othe units but they use Wi-Fi to connect. there are several walls between my TV and my Wi-Fi so sometimes there is a buffering issue or it gets dropped altogether. Now I do not have this issue any more plus I can use my Roku remote to control the volume and turn the TV On and Off and it sound way better the speakers on my TV. The value comes in by dropping my cable box for the TV and just keeping my internet connected. I save $160 a month just by doing this and finding my shows on the internet.

Well for starters, It is an upgrade to me for what I had. I have the "old" Roku ultra that works just fine. So I tried this one anyway. Hooked it into my new Yamaha RX-V6 and everything worked well after setting up the receiver. Then the sound went out after about two weeks. Going to get a replacement and try again. Looks good and yeah, sounds pretty doggone good...when it worked.

Great device. I had a Computer Monitor that needed an upgraded streaming service and definitely better audio. Its perfect. I plan to order another one.

We have been very satisfied with this! We finally cut the cable cord and this Roku device made it so much easier. We love the sound and probably the best part is we only need one control now! Highly recommend!

We recently cut the cable cord and were excited to find a streaming device that included speakers. We tested a friend's Roku streambar and found the sound was great (not looking for theatre-quality surround-sound, but found it very rich, with a good balance of high and low tones), the interface easy to navigate, and the visuals clear and sharp (even on a 20-year old TV). We decided to purchase this device, but quickly found that it wouldn't work for us for one reason: no other way (besides wifi) to connect the device to the internet. This is the only reason for this 3-star review. Every room in our house is its own Faraday cage (read: you can't get streaming-strength wifi signals from end of the house to the other), and so we need a streaming device with an ethernet option. Why doesn't this streambar have one? It's not as if there's no room to add a port (there's already an optical port and a USB port), and I can't imagine there isn't room for an ethernet card somewhere inside... The lack of ethernet option is really disappointing for an otherwise excellent device. I'd level-up my review if Team Roku decided to level-up the options. And for a 5-star review, they should consider taking a page from TiVo's book and add ports for peripherals like DVD players (yes, some of us still use those). If you have excellent wifi and do nothing but stream your media, I could recommend this device. Otherwise, step down to the Ultra and get a cheap soundbar from a big box store.

Hard to believe that this soundbar delivers such big sound. We took out the home theater speakers after we got this. This streamlines the whole look so it looks clean.
