Even with hearing aids he has trouble hearing what the actors are saying. This has enhancement feature you can turn on which projects the voice without increasing bass. He loves it .

I use it for my TV in the garage and it does a great job. It’s a 3 car garage and you can hear the TV from all corners. Setup was super simple since I was already in the Roku ecosystem.

Get better speakers and a roku in one device

The roku works well but is a little slow in its responsiveness. It is nice to have just one device that does both functions.

Having the Roku integrated has allowed us to finally transition to using just the Roku remote AND allowing the remaining HDMI ports to be used for our remaining devices (video game and PC).

We set it up in the bedroom so we have not used max volume but keep around 20. I wish the remote looked different since it's a slightly different product and maybe one of the keys could be programmable.

Using is workout room to fill the sound the the tv speakers cannot. If this were to come by default a sub I could likely give it 5 stars, but too weak on it's own to get 5. I am an audiophile so I may be more harsh than other reviews. Speed of interface on Roku is lightning fast.

Roku Soundbar Amazing!

I was worried because other reviews said it sounds better in small rooms. I purchased this to use outside on the lanai by the pool and the sound is amazing! The clarity the base is just wonderful. Great when it works, breaks often

The sound quality is really crisp and the interface works well. It's Roku, so you still have to deal with their silly feud with Youtube TV and other apps that they sometimes take away. It was a Christmas gift for my mom and it when this thing dies we will not be buying another one. We have had it for less than a year but we have had to do a full reset on it about 4 times. It involves reconnecting to the network, reactivating it to her account. I don't live close to her so it all has to be done over the phone and she doesn't understand tech at all so it's a struggle every time. I would say if you are older or someone who doesn't understand tech that well, this will give you enough headaches that I would not recommend it.
