And buying an antenna for local stations. My TV was not Roku ready, so that worked almost as good.

Roku - A Complete Surprise!!

How much money could I have saved all these years!! I disconnected my super expensive cable service as soon as I could and purchase 2 more Roku devises for the rest of the TV’s in the household.

Helps make an older TV a smart TV

No need to purchase a plan with Roku. Just the purchasing the unit itself will make it a smart TV. You’ll have to purchasing the streaming (Netflix, Max, Amazon…) but just one time purchase will allow you to make your older TV a smart TV.

Still if you feel like it, subscriptions are available for tailored options beyond packages. Best buy was helpful in reviewing the many options and for full disclosure I had reward points, even sweeter.
