Great for streaming media on a non-smart TV

Highly recommend purchasing a Roku if you don't have a Smart TV. If you purchase a Smart TV don't invest in a Roku because you don't need one, the apps are all built into the TV.

Cut the cable!

Doesn't have all the bells and whistles that our cable service offered, but with a savings of $100 per month, you'll learn and adjust quickly!

I previously bought the Roku Ultra but didn't want to pay the $100+ cost for another Roku. The Roku-streaming stick+ did the trick. I am able to have all of the same apps as on the Roku Ultra and there is no delay due to the lower storage on the streaming stick+.

Easy set up, but watch out for scam

However, we have an existing Roku account and when we were trying to add this device, we were misdirected to rooku.com (note extra "o") and an attempt to scam us out of $$ to purchase an additional subscription. We noticed in time and hung up, but irritating.

Purchased For Headphone Use

The Roku website states that it is only available at Best Buy. I looked around and could not find it elsewhere. Note that the Roku app allows you to listen through headphones on a smartphone but I prefer doing so using the Roku remote. So far there are no issues.
