Also the stick is a cleaner look with no box on the table We had a regular box also, just will use in another room. It's great for late nights when you want no one to hear your tv on. Plus you can hear sounds you wouldn't normally hear when you use headphones.

But here's some things I wish I had known (wish I had paid attention to) before I bought. 1) This isn't like a thumb drive. The stick requires that a power cord (provided) be attached and plugged into an outlet. So, it's not as subtle as I had expected. While it claims that some HDMI ports will power it enough w/o the cord...I have not found such a port (I plug it into a 2-year old Sony Bravia HDMI port). 2) Every now and then, I have to unplug it from it's port due to a connectivity issue. I get an error message on my TV which states their is a connectivity issue. I unplug it, and that does the trick for about a week. 3) It's portable...but I don't use it's portability as much as I thought I would. That being said...I wish I had bought a different model Roku. If the portability is a high priority...this is the model you're looking for. It has it's idiosyncrasies...but it works. My thinking is that for the price...I could I have paid $60 more and received the soundbar. Just my 2 cents.

In general, it works very well and I like the ability to cast my apple products to the TV screen (can't do with my older TV nor Amazon Fire TV Stick). My only challenge is that it does not support the Fire TV Recast which I use for over the air channels. Other than that, works very similarly to the Fire TV stick and is a good neutral vendor that should support more content providers over the long run.

That feature works perfectly! If you are a night owl like me, this stick is the one for you. The only downside is it won't work when playing Blu-rays, only streaming.

We have multiple services in our family, and they all work great using Roku. This is the latest generation of the streaming sticks and its fantastic. great for all members of our family. This device added to that TV has allowed the newest technology to function. Made the TV smarter. Much more prudent than buying a new TV and essential for "cutting the cord" with the Cabel Company.

The Roku-Streaming Stick works perfectly. No high cable bills! We can watch a wide variety of shows that we don't miss the cable channels. On my recommendation my niece and sister bought one, and love it!
