It’s ok.. sometimes stops but for its price it’s fine

Had it installed about two weeks and started getting notifications on my screen that this ROKU was overheating. I had to purchase an hdmi extender, $15, which drove the price up even more. Not too happy.

I got this item on regular but the signal goes in and out

It allows me to easily take my TV options with me.

Still learning it’s capabilities but so far so good!

Great addition to my tv. It has all the app I need,

i have not used a lot but seems to be what I wanted.

Good signal strength some buffering but controllable

I wanted this item to plug in the headphones and as a courtesy to my roommate. After (if I am lucky) about five minutes the audio on the headphones becomes broken. I think I'll try a better set of headphones. Otherwise I don't know what I will do.

Dont waste your time get the ultra. Comparing ultra and this one it feels like the memory for this one causes problems of buffering alot. I would spend the money for ultra if you can

Had the lowest model roku before and threw it away. After two months it would not connect with wifi. This model appears to be more reliable. The headphone option is weak. Even with quality earphones, the sound is poor. Time will tell.

I purchased this streaming stick for a wall mounted tv in a den that's used to occupy a toddler. This is my second Roku model after purchasing a Roku Ultra for a different bedroom. I have been nothing but impressed with that model which is why I was excited to purchase this one but it just doesn't come close. For starters, it's not near as low profile as I'd hoped. My older tv has HDMI ports facing the rear and one on the side. My options are to have the stick face straight back into the wall or stick out the side of the tv and be visible. I was able to overcome this as the tv is on a full motion wall mount that I could pull away from the wall for clearance but this will probably interfere with low profile or tilting wall mounts and HDMI ports that face the rear. Additionally, a USB port from the tv didn't provide enough power (as I suspect most older TVs won't) and had to use the included power adapter. This is just another item with a cord that detracts from the low profile, easy setup I was looking for. In comparison, I used Velcro command strips to attach my Roku Ultra to the back of another tv and achieved an arguably lower profile since I could place it anywhere on the back of the tv and it still didn't prutrude as far as the streaming stick. That setup worked with a tilt mount. As far as the other issues... the streaming stick is much less responsive and has other software issues that I hadn't experienced with the ultra model. I regularly have to re-press buttons on the remote because they didn't register on the first or second press. It's like the stick is "sleeping" after a period of time and takes a few presses to wake it up. On top of that, the software has completely frozen on a few occasions, requiring the stick to be removed and power cycled as well as the remote becoming unpaired during streaming for no apparent reason. I could just have a bad model but I also suspect some of this is just a limitation of jamming so much tech into such a small enclosure. I believe the better route to take is to spend some extra money for the ultra model that can be attached to the back of the TV and offer a much smoother software experience than the streaming stick.

I upgraded my Roko stick which was a cost $40 more than I spent on the original one I purchased 1 year ago. It still has a very annoying LAG which is worse that the cheap one I bought last year. Disappointed!!

This streaming device has a really nice layout and is easy to use. Includes a nice graphics card but, what kills it for me is that after 1-2 hours of running, the dang thing gets overheated and must be shut down and disconnected for 15 minutes to cool off. I procrastinated at exchanging it for a Fire stick 4K unit and now my 30 day window to return this device has expired, and now I'm stuck with it. Worst buy ever!

Good idea but doesn't last long. I've bought 3 of these in a 6 month period. Reason being headphone either quit working or it won't sync to tv after awhile

Was enjoying the ease using this Roku especially the earphones. However, 5 days after the return policy ended it stopped functioning. Change batteries in the remote, etc. couldn't get it to work.

The Roku seems to work fine. A little more trouble to set up and use it seems that the Firestick I’m used to but the sale price was too good to pass up.

Got this right before Christmas, back in December and the remote is not responding. I have tried all the troubleshooting from Roku's site and changed the batteries. I purchased 2, the other one is still working. Because this is a Best buy exclusive, I cant return it to the manufacture for the manufacture warranty. I plan on returning to Best buy to see if they will honor the manufacture warranty. While it was functioning, It had minimal use since it was in a spare room, but worked none the less. Perfect timing, since we're stuck at home waiting for the Corona virus to slow down.

This one does not work as well as the other models. The remote has a mute button on the right side right where I grab it to make adjustments so I’m constantly muting the sound by mistake.
