    The device we received was obviously used, previous owner’s CC info still in and had pin lock already set up. Also, the head phone jack appears damaged bc it is very staticky, as if you are listening to a radio station 1 point off. The overall product may be fine but hard to say since we received a used/damaged one. And not, I did not buy used/refurbished.

    This Roku didn't last very long, it kept stopping and finally stopped permanently.

    Won't stay connected to wifi

    I bought this because it claimed better wifi than the basic Roku. Worked fine out of the box, but after about a month the wifi would drop and usually reconnect. Now it is a struggle to get it to connect. Roku support said I needed some little HDMI extension. Now it works sometimes. If it doesn't work all the time it's useless.

    I bought this to compare to the FireTV, I run Plex. The plex player for Roku is not as stable as the FireTV app and stutters playback of both streaming services and local files suggesting it has limited memory for buffering files. The device went back in its box and tossed on a shelf, I will probably give it away.

    Very poor performance. It would pause about every five seconds or so and lock up and you couldn't do anything for about ten seconds until it became useable again. The streaming quality was good but the unit is unusable.

    It's a gamble: headphone audio issues plague Roku

    Issues with headphone plague Roku. This has been complained about yet Roku offers no solution, updates or fixes. Requests for support are answered with non-solutions. Even the Roku community pages with customers having no answers.

    How can I grade to no star? Application was not bad...but remote controller was the worst... I returned two times with the same issue... Even though some of my friends are working in ROKU..., but the real result was the worst... Don't buy....

    ... but they were dashed. I have had the sick for 6 weeks. It has overheated, about itself off, and just now it has no sound. Of course, the return period has passed.

    Remote Not Working

    Whenever I attempt to lower or increase the volume the remote kicks me out of the channel I am watching. I have not been able to get help at Best Buy or ROKU for this. Geek squad keeps referring me elsewhere. Totally frustrated.

    Didn’t work well. BUT I Bought the warranty. Then they say that they can’t fix it or replace it and won’t give me a comparable one without paying more money! Rip-off!

    Worked great in beginning, however, the remote no longer works after only 4 months. I am hoping that replacing remote will fix issue. Hopefully they will exchange it.

    remote broke after a combined total for 4 minutes of use. literally pieces in my hand. its just cheap junk so putting it back together broke it more. useless. need a new remote or rma

    Had to return it cause it would not pair with TV, which from reading online forums is a common problem Got the cheaper Roku and that worked fine.

    I bought to replace an Amazon fire stick but set up was very difficult and it was very glitchy. So I returned and bought a new version of the fire stick instead
